Thread: Ne/Si humour?

    Default Ne/Si humour?

A while back I presented this to some people, and it just re-occurred to me.

A couple of ESE's and SEI I know IRL think this is really funny.

An LII I know (female) thought it was funny but wasn't too impressed by the sort of rude bit in it.

I wasn't too keen on it at first, but it started to grow on me, anyway I thought i'd post it incase some others like it, or just want to laugh regardless of type (if it somehow amuses them).

From socionic POV, someone I know who posts here (who may want to say it's them or not) said the guy is like some LSE person and the female is like some Ne girl.

It's also no repeat on the weebl's site:

    Amazing Horse - Weebl's Stuff

On constant repeat, it's great for a night on internet i'm sure (or constant repeat on work which I had to endure for a while), no wonder it got stuck in my head...

"Shut Up Woman" - this phrase is highly used among alpha and delta males.
I showed this video to my LSE friend. He really liked it. I found it quite funny also but very disgusting.
I sometimes can't tolerate Alpha and Delta humor because it's usually joking about things that disgust me.

That's basically my opinion as well. It started out excellently enough, but I'm just not a big fan of that kind of rude humour. It's more awkward than funny, for me.

I know an ILE that was virtually addicted to this video.

I find it not too bad. I'm not entirely sure where the humor in the video is supposed to be. I could see laughing at it after several repetitions when it get "so bad it's funny," but not much more than that. Although, I would get a chuckle out of seeing someone's reaction to watching it if they aren't used to that brand of humor.

Uhm, wow, I don't understand how this could be humorous? Perhaps it's so-called "british" humor?

Anyway, I contribute with something which can be very Se/Ni humorous (perhaps slightly more on the Beta side)

That would explain a lot of it, actually.

I think these repeating things from weebl's stuff are all pretty funny.

Maybe I just dont get it, but I didn't find the video funny at all. Really boring and dumb tune and words, and stupidly offensive with the explicit part, not even really clear how that belonged in there.

    so, I agree with you.

If I had a sense of humor, I could imagine myself being into these types of videos and internet games, videos, etc, that people show me. My response to them wanting to show me is automatically like, "ah, what now?" I take myself pretty srsly, tbh. I don't understand why a lot of people are into it, even though I could find it funny. It's like their brain ran out of creativity or free will.

But I guess the answer is that they don't take humor as seriously, heh. My humor when it comes about is not really funny or universally understood at all, it's like awkward and esoteric.

I didn't care for it. I found it stupid and just not funny, but I wouldn't say I was offended or anything. Just not something I would spend even meaningless time on.

Yeah I understand. I'm not a real specific person, and it would probably serve me better to think of examples instead of one broad category.

I know an LII guy who loves these kinds of videos. It did not interest me at all. This would be a poor example of british humour.

Why do you think so? "Shut up woman" is something I could never imagine a LII or EII male saying, because of its disrespectful and imperative tone.

I did not find the video to be funny.

I'll maybe get round to posting what in particular the ESE/SEI's found so funny.

    Some short ones:

One ESE - finds it funny when the horses "winky" appears that the look in the horses eye looks very "sly".

Something I found funny, cause it's random, when the guy is going on about the universe and everything - it's showing all these different planets and stuff, and then for some reason, a hot dog, and i'm like...eh? wtf...hot dog? lol.

It's been my experience that LII's tend to be more uncomfortable about the subject of sex than ILE's and other members of their quadra - i'd pretty much expect the LII's (unless more developed in some areas - I don't mean not virgins or anything like that btw) to be a bit put off by that part, like the LII irl.

I wasn't too keen on that either, as personally saw it as unnecessarily crude, spoiling the vibe it created in me with the whole cartoon set up etc (relating to it through Si) but once past that, it's just sort of funny and "quotey" when in a group.

Eh, the sort of dance the girl does is moderately funny I think.
