    Default Spring '10 Pics

I decided to put my pictures here this time.

This spring has been beautiful so far here. Way more photogenic than winter, anyway.

Oh, to find you in dreams - mixing prior, analog, and never-beens... facts slip and turn and change with little lucidity. except the strong, permeating reality of emotion.

They are significantly, greatly, not unpretty.

    These pictures are very nice.

This one is all I can see when I go hiking, it's my limited vision thing...

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Thanks, you guys! I'm really glad you like them. It's fun sharing.

    @ Arctures - I have a Canon 40D with a 28-135mm lens, like this one:

I saved up for awhile for it, but boy is it worth it.

@ polikujm - I knew I could count on you.

I definitely like them too. I just have a hard time making comments, picking a favorite. They're all nice. I remember I liked the path ones the best from last time.

The fact that you so faithfully post your own unique contribution tells me enough of what you think. But, really, you're a sweetie.

And, just for kicks, here's a few more -

(Oh, by the way, thanks to Brilliand, now you can click on the pictures to see larger versions.)

Oh, I don't know what that means, heh. But thanks! Let's see, I seem to really like these two.

And the one the greeter said was interestingly likeable.

How did you take that bee picture? Was it on a window, or does your camera just have an infinitely fast exposure?

You saying that arouses the teacher in me. I'm fairly firmly convinced that anyone with the desire for it can learn to capture and create art, including photography. It just takes attaining the skills, and skills can be taught unless you have some sort of disability. And even then it's still possible. Anyway, if you ever decide to pick up a camera and play with it, I'd be interested in the results.

Thank you! He is my family's dog. His name is Toby, a visla/lab mix, and while he looks young enough in that picture he's beginning to act old and lazy, so I've been thinking that in a year or so he might need the company of a puppy to keep him on his toes.

Little does he know what is coming his way, muahaha...

(hehe, I've wondered when I could use that smiley)
