I feel like I could be sexy if I put any effort into it. Because being sexy is all about the mind. I feel like I have a moderate enough level of basic physical attractiveness, which could probably be improved a good amount by actually going to the gym, and then past that (especially for guys) it's all psychological. So I feel like I could do the psychological sexy part. But I don't want to, because then I'd feel manipulative. But then, that's all rationalization for my basic fear of sex (or women or my mother or something). So, whatevs.

It's not manipulation. It's self-respect and seld-confidence. If you respect yourself and your body, then you'll take care of it properly and as a result be healthy, which is what people find physically attractive. And people find confidence psychologically attractive.
