I don't think he wants a type though... so nm. Hey, shouldn't this thread be in the "what's my type" section?

lol I was just teasing about the section thing...

and I don't recall promising that I was ENTp. I may have promised that I'm not ESTj... but not that I was ENTp. I did a search just to be sure and didn't find anywhere that I said that. (sorry to nitpick, but I take promises very seriously)

    anyways... yeah, he's ENTp

    /me wishes this was real...

I think Transigent is an INTp who's trying to twist himself into ENTp so he can look special being a "rare" type of shy extravert. Now someone disagree with me.

Thanks for starting this thread, maize! I've been thinking the same thing myself.

I doubt we'll ever get Transigent to own up to a type though - look at his sig it changes daily! lol

I used to think he was enfp, now I have no idea.

    Default Your Type

    @Transigent
If you truly want to figure out your type, it should not really be that difficult. Just give us some more information about yourself and we can all jump on the bandwagon and start analyzing you.

Or you can just continue playing this silly typeswitching game and edit all your old posts for "gayness". And have you even considered the sensing types? I think we are alll rather too eager to type everyone as intuitive.

CuriousSoul, I think sensing types are a lot more likely to speak of their experiences and lives and surroundings than intuitives. Does anyone here (besides me ) know where he lives or what he does for a living or anything about him? He's intuitive.

Transigent, in typing yourself, look at what you are like when you are healthiest, happiest, and most comfortable. (:

Hmmmm... Transigent, to me the things you've said about yourself here make it sound like Fe is either your 6th or 3rd function, and maybe your 5th... not likely though.

I actually know ESTps who are liable to complain about being unable to fulfill their will. (And yes, I am sure these are tried and true ESTps.) It makes sense to me, actually. ESTps are more likely to complain about being unable to take action/shit because decisiveness and assertiveness are the very things they value. Most are pretty polite/attentive in face-to-face interaction, and I think this front might put them at odds with their desire to just go ahead and work their Se. And again, not all people will be living embodiments of stereotypes.

Although... did Transigent say he had trouble taking action/shit? I probably missed that part, or read it wrong.

    Hmmm... I say:

    ENTP or INTP.

He does seem very ENTP, but I think he uses , some people say he uses , but I don't know how you can really see an introverted function in a forum.

Well...it is the biggest jump you can make

Why do it?...so many people are making good arguments against ISTp especially after seeing pics of me. Growing number of people thinks I might be Fe, ExFj at least Exxx. ENFj pops up pretty much everytime I ask people to VI me in chat. I don't relate very well to most ISTps here or to Si. And even though I can find many ISTp things that match (especially me ages 1-20) the descriptions somehow seem to focus on wrong things. Like they list thing A, B, C, D and I say "yes, yes, yes, yes" then they say but most importantly E and I say "umm...not really...".

And things like this: "ISTps might have some odd behavior around friends or family." I don't get at all.

The biggest problem with ENFj is that I feel a bit too introvert...but I'm stuck with MBTI definition. This is most interesting thing about ENFjs so far: "One potential problems almost all ENFjs face is a general lack of the expression of their own identity; they can get so caught up in understanding the needs of others that they often times fail to do the things that would naturally define them as individuals. In result, some could adapt 'fake-it-to-make-it' approaches or mold to societies like a chameleons." Somehow I think I do that all the time. But I don't know if I do it enough to be an ENFj

But is still just an experiment. I try to live like ENFj for a while and see if it feels right I still might be just a goofier than average ISTp. Although some people who know ISTps have already said "neva!".
