Persoanlly Im all for firm authority, and cant stand weak authority but just because someone is an authority figure doesnt mean im necessarily gonnna respect them in my heart just for that reason.

Perhaps because a Socionics forum is by nature rather palatable to Ti, your buttons rarely get pushed. Perhaps not as much as they should.
My view, of course, is that where there is a will there is a way. The will is everything. You just have to take some risks and the possibilities become endless.
One of my favourite quotes comes from Batman Begins (the director, Christopher Nolan, is often typed as Beta Quadra). It runs thus: "It is not what lies in your heart; but what you do that defines you." In other words, consider the actions or initiative you take to entertain yourself and your c(o)untry. Seize the opportunity to create good cheer, or maybe even a little mischief now and again. It does pain me to hear that someone feels the forum lacks animation, but of course also being me, my first thought is "what can I do about it?"
I feel grateful for the warmth I've perceived from some, and any suggestions of how to shake the place up would be most appreciated. Most of my ideas involve a little bit of group participation.

@squark ...was that actually necessarily? Sounds like you have some pent-up anger issues more than anything. Also, I didn't know that you were the pinnacle of some critical and intellectual thought. I don't know what I did to you to make you so butt-hurt, but ok.
Was it necessary? No. Of course not. And it's also pointless, so I deleted it. A rant is a rant is a rant, no need to try to put it as anything else. And sometimes there's just a little too much stupidity and meekness in the world - if a person can't rail at that from time to time what are they even doing?
