    Default I have a question.

If nobody here understands the functions and how the manifest themselves in everyday life.

How the hell can we accurately type our selves.

How can I identify what function I am using at a particular moment, or what anyone else is using.

The type speak section on wikisocion is rubbish.

What the hell is that. I have never heard anyone in my life speak like that and if they did I would roll my eyes and never speak to that person again.

Do it yourself - it's the best way to start (check the V.I. galleries first) or you could simply ask someone who already answered it for you.

Well there you go. Maybe that's already a clue about your type if would react so strongly to that type of language. I personally would find it funny.

The vast majority of phrases and statements have no "personality" to them and are used by people of all types. Finding speech that is typically used only by people with certain traits is difficult.

Music today is like a big bowl of soup - full of dubious chunks.

Music today is like a big bowl of soup - tasteless and insipid.

Music today is like a big bowl of soup - full up with not much of anything.

Music today is like a big bowl of soup - good with cheese.

I envy people who can come up with stuff like that.
So did you figure out your type?

IMO a lot of the talk that goes on on the forums is too theoretical, some people also (I get the impression) have more internet people to base socionics off than real life people.

When you use it in real life, with different people, it becomes easier to make sense of it, and separate what socionics can and can't do.

I am very good with people all though very selective, very tactful and charming.

I can read people like children's books.
I Very aware accepted of social behavior and I almost never offend anyone.
I don't feel comfortable controlling people.

I am very relaxed and happy to be alone. Love sitting around doing nothing.

    So I must be SEI.
But "very selective" with people ruled out SEI. :-p

    How?
By examining your behavior as thoroughly as possible. It is already pretty much established fact that each type has its own conglomerate of type related behaviors (many of which are generally known to us) whose function is also to help you type yourself properly.

My cousin on the other hand would have gone even if he didn't really get along with the people who gave the invite.
Yeah.. well I wouldn't want to go out with people whose company I didn't enjoy. "Very selective" brings to mind personal checklists of specific attributes and stuff. :-p

The answer is obvious, stop "pretending". Embrace it.
