your sense of humor reminds me of my ISTp brothers. like your avatar picture, i'm guessing that's some absurd sense of humor.

I think the better question is how many siblings does he have. I've heard of siblings of all kinds of types.

I don't think it matters what type you are, which is a bizarre thing to say on a socionics forum.

Why do you say that Cyclops?

Vero, your avatar is disgustingly cute.

You seem adjusted and enjoying life - at least as far as I know. What difference will it make to call yourself ESTp or ISTp?

You probably know by now what sort of people you are more likely to get on with and those you probably won't, why look at confusing it by trying to making it squeeze into some womans theory.

Unless you are just mildly curious or something, I dunno.

Vero, would you respond to the Fidelity thread, please; I am curious to see your answer.

The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. Couldn't you have just PMed her, Maritsa?

Cyclops, it's more of a curiosity thing. I don't like molding reality to fit the theory. I think that's ass backwards. I like fitting theory to the reality.

What do you accomplish by fitting theory to reality that you don't do the other way around, it sounds like a symantic argument; you know, they both mean the same thing.

I don't want to turn that argument into a semantic pissing contest.

We could just agree (for now) on what constitutes reality as a sensory experience and theory as a rational thought.

    Done.

why do you think you're ISTj or ESTp? Not to say it isn't possible, but your posts have never reminded me of those types.

Maybe you could summarise why some other people think you are ESTp and/or summarise why you think you could be an ESTp (or how you could be an ISTj) - presuming you must think it is a slight possibility yourself).

Perhaps it will then be possible to see if the reasoning for the Beta ST types are correct or if they are flawed somewhere, and also therefore if Delta ST would be the most likely, presumably ISTp over the other one.
