The famous wrestler, who has a real life soap called 'Hogan knows best'
I'm not certain about his type but my first quick impression is ISFP
Does anyone know what type he is?

I think he's LSE actually.

A very clear example of LSE.
i've always thought that he was SLE.

well here is the funny thing.
When watching that wrestling youtube movie, I agree that you would say SLE or LSE, he's loud, aggressive and clearly present etc.
But if you look at his real life soap, when he's with his family and not acting, he seems the stereotypical SEI. Very careful and soft etc. Even somewhat submissive and giving in. Also the IP temperament and SEI simple humor seems striking. He does get mad (or pretends to) and tries to control at times, but does that in a very poor and unconvincing way. It's weird how he can change that much.
I agree that he should be typed based on footage from the real life soap rather than on his TV-personality.

To learn, read. To know, write. To master, teach.
Clear example of LSI subtype IMO.
"Hogan knows best" is like saying Hogan is as stubborn as 4 .
From what I've noticed he often uses beta rational methods when raising his kids. He is a bit overly protective to a degree of possessiveness (quite typical for beta ST) and which is even more typical to "beta j" he tries to teach his kids lessons through putting them into tests.
SLE possibly, he seems to have an almost embarrassing use of Fe HA
"behavior aimed at showing how popular and liked by the crowd you are, but that is actually making you look like an ass."

Seems to be the same type. C-LSE.
You seem to be looking at their body type not sociotype here.
LSIs often have "heavy eyelids" if you know what I'm talking about
That's the type I thought he was too.Clear example of LSI subtype IMO.
They both lift weights so they are the same type? The vibe they transmit via their faces, even in those two pictures, is completely different. Hogan is soft-ish in his attitude, very calm and collected, whereas Schwartzenegger is abrupt and issuing.Seems to be the same type. C-LSE.

I like to compare people to Sean Connery to check whether they're ISTjs. This guy passes the test with flying colors.

Jarno's suggestion that he might be ISFp isn't the worst in this thread either. That's probably the second type I'd try for him long before I'd give ESTj a thought.

(Sorry. I couldn`t resist.)
cant even see arnolds eyes. I can see Ne polr for Hogan for sure. Rational. He's like Dog the Bounty Hunter no?
Strangely I see what you mean about the "heavy eyelids". Keeps em from seeing Ne.
Also reminds me of Jesse the Body Ventura.
Se-ISFj?
I see Hogan as LSE-Se.
When you see him in his wrestling act, he seems like he's some kind of LSE or SLE, but when you see his reality show where he's at his home then you can see that he's an SEI.
I'll check next time when I watch, whether he could be ESI. He's certainly likely a 'softer' type.

btw I change my guess to LSI>SLE

ESFj seems more believable to me than ESTj. Not sure why though. Seems like a fairly cool guy though nonetheless.
ESFj does make a lot more sense.
I get a lot of exposure to Hogan through the local media here since he is a resident of Tampa Bay (in fact, his Clearwater/Belle Air mansion is visible from the water and it's fucking huge). Bubba the Love Sponge*, a local radio personality who has gained national notoriety thanks to a satellite port, is good friends with Hogan and it's not uncommon for them to call each other now and again on the air. This was especially true when all that drama was going down with his son and getting the divorce and all that.
For the record, I've listened to Bubba's terrestial radio program for years, long before he got kicked off 98ROCK.
SF just "feels better" than ST for some reason.
* Interesting side note, I believe Bubba is also an EJ temperament.
I think SEI is an interesting idea -- he does seem a lot more mellow in real life than in the ring.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
