similar-looking aren't they? I wonder if they are the same type, or look-a-like types. I think Sidis might have been an INFj, just going by the descriptions of him on wiki, and the look of him

look almost nothing alike. reeve does look infj, painful smile fi eyes, Seen that expression alot personally. Some say LSE, i say bs, =EII
So in fact to me EII's come off as painfully strained emotionalism. Like literally they are suffering in pain and I do not like the vibe. Maybe applies only to FI sub or Fi sub men. Socionics.com mentions they have a charicteristic painful ascetic christian suffering monk face. I AGREE

They are IJ. So moreso its the shit that doesnt change enough they will be pared with, and EJs will be with them.EX: like overally stuffy religions and stuff, traditional shit like the uptight frats they make fun of in movies. Beta NF in comparison seems more natural and flowing in their emotion. Different for each type relation.

2 looks smug and feeling superior. i say istj maybe ti estp.
Worst comparison ever. Both their types are fairly established.

Frankly I'm responding to this to warm up my mind.

"overall moods" quite useful for me if using some form of VI. "video" id is petter than static pictures.
Try to line up the vibes you get off people with your own expirience of people you know and how they relate to you to get your own brand of VI/personal interaction knowledge.
Every one of these assertions can be challenged/nitpicked by other forum members who are frankly dumbshits and offer no better solutions.

EII:gentle but with firm principles; demonstrate positive attitude; willingness to share your world

    2
    LSI
tough, serious, decisive, tough-minded, disciplined, controlling, firm, resolute; mistrustful; stand their ground
    SLE

forceful; demanding of others; go-getters; not easily intimidated; ready for confrontation

ok, so they don't look super duper alike. but it's an exaggeration to say they 'look almost nothing alike'

    Similarities
    -wide face
    -low hairline (for males)
    -sharp, sculpted cheekbones
    -high and narrow bridged nose
-angled eyebrows that almost meet at the top of the nose
-deep set, triangle shaped eyes (the outer eyelids are angled downwards)
-'knowing', slightly sad look in the eyes
    -angular/'square' jaw
    -pouted lips
    -medium size bum chin
-very similar pattern of hair growth (just that parting is on opposite sides)
-both have a distinctly blocky, angular look

    Differences
    - Sidis's face more squashed
    - Sidis's nose points up slightly
    - Reeves's brows have a wider arch

If Reeves was younger in that photo, and his face oriented to the same angle as Sidis's, then the bone structure similarities would become quite obvious, but i think it's the difference in facial expression (as opposed to differences in bone structure) that actually makes them look different.

anyway, i 'm a little doubtful of my initial INFj typing. INTj seems plausible too. his personality, based on bio readings, doesn't really fit the ISTj and ESTp descriptions you posted. there is no indication that he was especially forceful, controlling, mistrustful, tough-minded, demanding of others, etc. he was a social outcast in his time, and spent most of his life as a recluse working menial jobs, the rest of the time writing on various topics (politics, Native American history, transport systems, physics...) under pseudonyms.

Who cares if they look somewhat alike? That's not going to tell you if they're the same personalities or not. That can only be confirmed by Socionics type (aka personality type) not facial type.

Christopher Reeve I think may be an IEE.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, though if you are, I shall retort by saying no, I am an ESE.

If you were an ESE, you wouldn't have phrased your reply like that - '...I shall retort by saying no,...', you would have been more willfull in pointing out that i was wrong (and you would have been able to tell whether or not i was being sarcastic). And you wouldn't look like a slightly zoned out ENTp either (but you don't believe in VI, so i won't push the point). In any case, your attempt at lying was pretty weak. Try harder next time.

I am not an ENTp, despite what others may try to have me believe. For ENTp, see users like Vero or Coolanzon.

The other guy: IEE (reminiscent of Ashton Kutcher, BTW)
    ILE "Searcher"
    Socionics: ENTp
    DCNH: Dominant --> perhaps Normalizing
    Enneagram: 7w6 "Enthusiast"
MBTI: ENTJ "Field Marshall" or ENTP "Inventor"
    Astrological sign: Aquarius

you tried to fool me - that's a pretty ENTp thing to do you know...
you seem too strong in Se to be an INTp...
too weak in Fi to be an ENFp...
'...despite what others may try to have me believe' is also a sentiment i hear most commonly from ENTp's...
but i will suspend judgment till i've gathered more tidbits

I didn't try to fool you. I was being sarcastic in saying I'm an ESE, because I'm an ILI. Sarcasm can't be that difficult to catch onto if I'm using the word sarcastic in the same sentence. Anyway ILE I am not. ILEs are outwardly attentive, energetic, and have values exactly opposite of mine, those most notably Ne: frequent jumping from context to context in creation of new associations. I have been mistyped as ILE by people here before. I am ILI, way too low-energy, meditative, in constant depth and replay of the same mental imagery, lacking in motivation, uncertain, seeking of accurate factual information in an instructive and detailed form from a good source, and if you live with me for a few days you'll realize my Fe-PoLR, most notably that I'm highly disconnected from reading other's emotions and picking up on social cues. I'm everything that an Se-DS ILI is.

Well it really depends on the context in which the word is used...sarcasm is usually conveyed in tone, not use of the word. anyway, i couldn't tell you were being sarcastic...isn't sarcasm supposed to state the obvious?? given that i've had no prior communication with you, how could it have been in any way obvious that you were ILI (and thus sarcastic in calling yourself ESE)?

I don't believe this back and forth conversation will be leading anywhere constructive.

do all your conversations have to lead somewhere 'constructive'? jk. i guess ILI's don't do banter.
ok then, so what makes you think Reeves is IEE?

Physiognomy is marginal in socionics. Take more attention to your impressions from non-verbal behavior such as facial expression and body plastique - this side of VI have much more relation to Jungian typology.
