    Stop typing people at all. You're just not good at socionics. When will this ever sink in? What do you have to show for this supposed magical typing talent of yours apart from your pride? Time to cut your losses and move on.

    Why is he not in the Maritsa bin? He has the same "I'm right, you're wrong, because I said so!" attitude along the complete lack of evidence.

    Well, I mean, you have to admit, Pinochio uses tight logic but imo misapplies it to real life situations, maritsa asserts truths as true from empirical observation where I question the logical underpinnings of said obervation. I'd be more likely to believe pinocchio for the sole reason that if his observations fit the logic, the conclusion follows. But I'm skeptical of both, and if I'm really honest, I'm skeptical of a lot of you dudes. Then again, I'm not out to prove anything and I only on occasion care.

    Where are these piles of evidence? All I have ever seen is theoretical speculation with both feet planted.

    You know, I think he actually believes in his typing's and that it may not, necessarily, be for the sheer purpose of retaliation that he retypes people (even though I stated so a while back)
    He probably does believe that he is right but I don't agree with his approach to Socionics, and the IE definitions, as do a lot of people it seems.

    But yah, it's annoying when someone is trying to enforce their ideals of systematic correctness on others

    I care not what he types me as, indeed he types me as IEE. I'm not sure how others are bothered either, as it stands I can find him somewhat entertaining, I think he's a lot wittier than many others who post here, much of the people that post here, it's almost like they may as well be the same account (or like somavision, different accounts, same person) - same difference really.

    Some of the Penetrators more recent posts are cut and pasted from different users, so in that case you could say that he is an amalgamation of forum users.

    Did you copy and paste that or did you just write it all? If second one, are you waiting on a bus that's not turning up?

    I'm curious - which full-type descriptions do you use as reference? If you can share this, perhaps it would go along way to understanding your perspective. Perhaps you have a source that is not accessible yet here in the West? I know you referred to me as a 'Benchmark INTp' in the other socionics forum, part of your assessment was based on something I wrote matched the type description. So, I know personally, I'm interested in knowing your source.

    BTW, How to type someone?

    I used to read profiles and try to find matches, but this doesn't work. A better way to type somebody is trying to FULLY understand what functions really are and then you can assess which functions are valued/strong in a person.

    There's no other way this can't been taken as arrogant/offensive, but I still find it funny...and cruel. You remind me of one of my closest friends.

Sometimes someone is simply similar to all the people you typed say ILI but you can't tell exactly what, just parts of language, gestures, reaction in specific circumstances and so on. This can't be put on functions.

    Let's look how the naming and type identification has evolved in Aushra's Socionics:
    - The Jungian dichotomies - ENTp (Extroverted iNtuitive Thinking perceiving);
    - The three letter convention - ILE (Intuitive-Logical Extrovert). This corrected the wrong view that some types are "perceiving" or "judging" and the error that j/p is a type dichotomy instead of the priority (or rather designation) of functions in the Ego block;
    - The two Ego functions - IL (Intuition of potential, structural Logic). This corrected all the errors and uses instead the valued and strong functions.
    - Character name - Don Quixote. This is the name which actually evokes a real person, a type of personality, someone you can observe and identify among other people. This was the apogee of type systematization, Russian Socionics networks (and schools, afaik?) use exclusively this convention, proven the best approach there.

    The functional descriptions of types were created to analyse and interpret the behaviour, not to type. Before interpreting those values, you have to detect them.
    For what it's worth, I agree with you here. I find the functional descriptions only truly make sense once your conception of a type is complete. For example, when I first started in socionics, I was (and still am) on the quieter side, and based on this would not have associated myself with Fe seeking. Based on functional description, Fe comes across as emotional expression (which it partly is) but there's more to it than that which is not quite captured in the description.

    Slight deviation: In terms of dichotomies/grouping, which I also sometimes find to aid me, the erotic attitudes seems remarkable accurate (a very insightful classification), as well as quadra though not to as large an extent.

    +10000. I think that this is one of the main problems of this forum. And not only do people mistype others this way, but it can also lead to mistyping yourself!

    Pinocchio and Maritsa5465999957 are as popular as Saddam Hussein!
    I just don't understand why everyone is so flustered by them! They seem to have their own view of socionics that is different from most of us, so I'm not really sure what it means if they try to correct your self-typing...

    IMO, in a modern society, people behave according to rules, which covers the real traits of the people we interact to. When a person uses his/her functions, then you can spot their real traits.
