    Default Embarrassing Identicals

Post examples of people that you type as your identicals despite that you wish they weren't and you have difficulty admitting that they are.

You can vary on the theme and post "embarrassing duals" or "embarrassing activies" aswell.

I don't care if the people being typed are fictional as long as they are realistic depictions of a type.

    South Park's Butters, INTj:

(will probably be called ENTp or ENFp by some. I think he is generally quite headstrong and individualistic, not making concessions and getting in trouble for it, which supposedly is an INTj theme. Seems very weak to Se that way. If people want to call him ENTp, I'll just call him embarrassing mirror.)

    Project Runway's Tim Gunn, INTj:

(probably a controversial typing. I think the guy is obviously IJ and generally very unconventional and weird. I admit that he has Se-ish tendencies but they can be explained by IJ type + general arrogance)

    Scrubs' Ted, INTj:

    That 70s show's Bob, ISFp:

(this is pretty much the only time in the show he talks in that Se-ish way)

Some guy from a commercial on television in my country (actor is awesome, though), ISFp:

An embarrassing person - someone you generally don't want to be associated with publicly due to their behavior that you find capable of ruining your carefully built social persona.

I think identicals in general can be kind of embarrassing because we have a better idea of why they're acting the way they are and it gives us an idea of how much our flaws show through. That's one reason it's usually more fun to be around dual / activity and even mirror.

How are those SEIs embarrassing? I can really laugh at Bob, and even be proud of him, since he pulled off something I struggle horribly with.

I've heard Kim Jong Il is INTj. (I've also heard ISTj) If so, he's not my favorite identical. Sure, he may be able to rule a country and keep a massive military, but North Korea isn't doing as well as it could, especially in the context of the relative economic prosperity of South Korea.

Sada Abe strangled her lover to death in a hotel room, carved her name into his arm, wrote love messages in his blood on the bed sheets, cut off his genitals, wrapped them in newspaper, and left the hotel with them.

    I think ENFp.

I thought - the motive for her crime involved posessiveness. ESFp perhaps? Why ?

Hey, any type can go insane. Plus the way scholars debate her motive makes it sound more Fi to me. Supposedly more out of "love" than jealousy or whatever. Se leading isn't really required for a crime like hers, but being insane is. Also from VI she has that Ne spaciness.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

    Super embarrassing: Sarah Palin

    EW!
I thought about posting her. True fact.

Also: Dan Quayle. (haven't looked into him extensively, but is a candidate ESFj)

I don't know any celebrities that annoy me, but I recently attended a lecture by an IEE who just... doesn't appear very professional when she's speaking. She's good-humored, but her lack of seriousness and tendency to think outloud in unstructured thoughts make her sound like an airhead. She's quite good at her job - she runs her own consulting firm. She's doing far better than me. heh When she finally got more serious, I breathed a sigh of relief. I hope I don't come off like that, but I probably do.

If that's based on identicality feelings, you're in for retyping. Butters is the most obvious Ne type ever depicted in fiction.

Admittedly, I haven't watched Enterprise very much because it was so bad. But yeah I could see it.

There was that mirror universe episode where he risked his ship on a mission in Tholian space on the vague and uncertain prospect of possibly retrieving a constitution class ship from the future. So that's what I based my Ne typing on.

Hmm. I wonder if ESE with focus on Ne HA would work for him too. ESEs can be very stable and traditional. I remember he was always trying to get T'pol (the Vulcan officer) to break out of her shell of social confinement. Trip Tucker seems like a stereotypical Se IJ; would LSI work or do you think he's more ESI?

In TNG. Dr. Noonien Soong. Data's inventor, is one of the most textbook ILE characters ever. Even down to the Fi-PoLR / inability to express his feelings to his SEI wife (who ended up leaving him).

Do you think that what's-his-face is an ILE in real life too?
Probably. For some fictional character to be a believable representation of a type, the actor generally needs to be that type aswell. IMO he fits the bill in that regard.

Hmm. I wonder if ESE with focus on Ne HA would work for him too.
ESFjs aren't normally at risk of being seen as boring, so I'd have a hard time seeing that. Being alpha SF usually also comes with quirks and a sense of ineffectuality (except on the social scene, of course), which I don't see in him.

Trip Tucker seems like a stereotypical Se IJ; would LSI work or do you think he's more ESI?
Why not some extrovert merry sensing type? He never seemed very calm or inhibited to me. Any attempt at comparison with T'Pol (exaggerated stereotype of ISTj) would instantly crash and burn.
