    Default Hello.

    Hello, I have joined your forum. Before I go and make a post here or there or perhaps start a thread somewhere, I'm making this introduction first. But I'm not really sure what any of you might want to know about me. So if anyone wants to something, what is it that you want to know about me?

    Your username reminds me of another user named "slighted"... who, like you, hasn't posted much. Overall probably nobody you'll ever need to care about, unless you're trying to figure out what I'm talking about.

    Anyhow, welcome, and I want to know what your type is. Start a thread in "What's My Type?" if you don't know either.

    That's interesting. The type I came up with from taking the socionics word selector was INTp. I guess I find the socionics method to be more accurate than MBTI for myself and that is why I'm here - to learn about myself and others regarding this theory.

    That was also Slighted's type according to my sister, who is the only person I know who really knew him.

    What's this Socionics word selector? I don't think that I've ever heard of that particular method before...

    This test here. http://www.socionics.com/sta/sta-1-r.html?0:::
    They have the person do two methods: choosing what is the test-taker and what is not the test-taker. I imagine they weigh the two together with certain words to create a conclusion that is less vague than it would be if only one method were used.

    What I don't understand about the socionics word selector is why it is based on dichotomies as opposed to functions. I would think that a function-based word selection test would be more accurate.

    I've made one of those, but I haven't released it yet. Still running through some tests.

    Welcome to the16types, Divided. We used to have more of your type, but they mysteriously disappeared. Hope you turn out to be active.
