    Default Thomas Kuhn

    Does anyone here dig him?

    I was thinking of him recently when I was in bed all alone, and I remember really liking his stuff (although not specifically why). I just know that I've considered his approach to be a kind of approach, and that his way pretty much made complete sense...while of course being completely impossible to refute conclusively. Which is why I wonder why people have different ways of getting productive results bother arguing endlessly - especially when I generally agree with both people!

    So for all I know, he may be Ego, or...actually, what does it...indeed, what does anything, matter?

    I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE
