Ok, in the absence of that... A few questions:
* What do you like studying..?
* What's your ideal profession..?
* What musicians/bands do you like..? Or, do you have a favorite TV show/favorite movie..?
At the moment, only Japanese and Socionics really.
Doing work that doesn't feel like work (in that I enjoy doing it) but still carries responsibility. I'd considered writing music for some time, but I came to realize that there would be little to no chance of finding a stable job in the music industry. Currently I am studying to become a translator.
Coldplay isn't bad I suppose. Does Victor Borge count as a musician?
Favorite show has to be Scrubs. *edit ALSO WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAYS*

How is Scrubs ever Delta? The main two "cool" characters in it are INFp (JD) and ESTp (Cox). The only clear delta is the ESTj manager guy (Kelso) and he is portrayed as a charicature. Calling JD an ENFp doesn't work either because he gets along far worse with Kelso than with Cox.Coldplay and Scrubs are delta.

The only real reason Dr. Cox and Kelso don't get along is due to their conflicting views on where hospital priorities should be; they become friends by the end of the series, to an extent. Besides, I wouldn't expect the writers on any show to be fluent enough in the inner-working of socionics to be able to make any character that consistent.
Zach Braff is ENFp, even if he tries to make his character any different, and John C. McGinley is probably ISTj. But of course, since this is 16t, nobody can be convinced of anything; not even me~
There is an episode in which JD has a small competition going on with a real ENFp. Said ENFp is basically good at everything but later turns out to be too sensitive to keep doing the job. I really wish I could show you something from that episode as it would immediately clear up any confusion as to way in which JD might seems ENFp but isn't.
JD isn't a morally pure kind of person like someone with Fi would be. He is selfish and sensation seeking. The relation with Cox is based on a pretense of hostility caused by the fact that Cox needs to keep JD aware that he is his subordinate. The scene I posted shows exactly what their relation is like when that pretense is torn down.

Also, Scrubs is at least Ne/Si. With all the absurd fantasy sequences, how could it not be?

About you:
In VIing, I evaluate demeanor/gaze.
* What I notice in looking at your photos is that your gaze is somewhat stand-offish, i.e. skeptical, exacting... You look as if you're evaluating, almost challenging whomever you're looking at... In the photo where you're making a peace sign, your eyes are making an 'it wasn't me,' lol.
*You have the classic 'Ni gaze.' Some better trained eyes may even be able to see Se-seeking... However, I've grown not to trust these 'looks'--I've typed ppl in cases where they've been deceiving.
To be honest, in terms of IM elements, I don't get much else from these photos... For example, I can't tell whether you manifest Fi or Fe, Ti or Te, Ne or Ni (although I have an educated guess,) and Se or Si (although, again, from your demeanor I have an educated guess.)
If you have a video, it'll be much easier to type you.
I know that you have self-typed as Delta. I'm not sure whether you follow Classical Socionics or the short-cut versions that many around here have made.
My advice to you is--if you really care about finding your correct type, and thus letting this system work for you--keep an open mind as to whether you're alpha, beta, gamma, or delta.
Don't let people who do not understand Socionics influence you into an erroneous type, and thus waste your time... This happened to me for over a year and it sucked... I had to scrap my entire understanding and start from scratch when I realized that the inter-types didn't work.

I guess scrubs is Ne valuing. I've always just disliked it, but I guess that might just be my own problem.
It is. I always find meself listening to those wonderful protest songs when in toilet. Hell, even me Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta friends like Coldplay, and it doesn't surprise me - the music is simply breathtaking.
I can only listen to them up to a certain point, and then I become disenchanted with the exaggerated wist and pretentious delivery. Keane is another delta band whom I think bears a general resemblance to Coldplay, but whose music is ultimately better.

I thought this before as well, but I've come to see that lightness and severity are simply qualities on a spectrum that manifest in specific ways for each quadra. Keane's music is clearly Fi-themed; all you have to do, is watch the video for 'Atlantic' to see this. And while the wistful quality in it may seem to speak to an Ni presence, the overall delivery is much more redolent of aristocratic attitudes (both betas and deltas harbor some implicit idea about "ideals forgotten," which of course *must* be brought back into existence, that's where the STs come in), specifically the NF combination of rue and nostalgia. Gamma emotivism typically seems much more contained and under-the-surface, i.e. democrats are generally not as pretentious as aristocrats in artistic expression lol.

I find that I tend to tune out lyrical content and think of the voice as just another instrument.
Yeah, I honestly didn't think anybody immediately focused on the lyrics of any song.
I do. The sound is useless if the lyrics lack substance.

Same here. If I focus too much on the lyrics then its harder for me to enjoy the beauty of the sound. I'm not so good at doing both at once.
I would just tune out the lyrics and focus on the sound in that case. I'm a very sound oriented person so I can like alot of music that has bad lyrics. Alot of the music I like has no lyrics at all. Strrrng, what do you think about music that has no lyrics at all? Would you imagine lyrics in places where there are none?
Furthermore, is the focus on lyrics vs. sound a type related thing? Are there certain information elements that tend to prefer one over another?

I listen to some music that doesn't have lyrics – variations of classical and trance, mainly. But if lyrics are present, they establish the heartbeat of the music to me; the sounds just give emphasis to their expression.
I don't imagine lyrics in music where they're absent; I try to enjoy music for what it is. But, with a given song – lyrics or not – I often find myself reorganizing the instrumentals and creating different versions to see how it complements the piece.

I would say ENFp, vibe-wise for me.
Totally ENxp, you remind me a lot of some of the Ti ENTps here. And I think you VI as an extrovert by the magnitude of apparent energy. But Ti has a different quality, it looks more void-ish or or x-ray by turns. Your eyes and bearing have a certain more self contained feel I associate with Fi/Fe (ethics in general). So Fi ENFp.
I agree, those photos are infintely more EP than IJ.
I end up not paying attention to the lyrics after awhile because I imagine music videos for the songs while I listen and it often has little to do with the actual lyrics.
