Default trying LSI on for size

Okay, so maybe I'm a bit too clumsy and absentminded and not all that self-disciplined or good at follow through. And maybe the intertype relations don't really make all that much sense.

But hey, why not. I'm bored. Let's give it a shot.

Okay, so this probably doesn't sound like the way an LSI would act, huh?

I get really friendly. Maybe even too friendly. Chatty, accidentally flirty, goofy and active (doing silly/playful/weird things like climbing trees, standing on my head, hiding things in my shirt, going up on the roof, short sheeting someone's bed, fixing things in people's houses, etc.), loud, and bold. I probably tell people that I like them or that they're awesome and them more than I ought to. I occasionally exchange contact information with strangers that I get along well with... but never end up talking to them again unless we happen to run into each other.

Last time I was at a party I convinced two girls to give me their bras, then walked around wearing them on my head. I'm pretty sure I did this for the purpose of being able to tell people that I convinced the girls to give me their bras when asked why I had bras on my head. (I can't imagine why else I would have done it, lol.) I also told everyone not to go sledding because they'd get arrested, and for that was called a party pooper (I KNOW they would have been arrested where they wanted to go though, so I don't care that I "ruined the fun").

Even drunk as described above, however, I'm still generally more pragmatic and logical than most of the people around me. I frequently get weird looks for it. It's the kind of look people give Bones when they think she's being overly rational/logical.

Good question. I do generally relate well to the EJ temperament, after all.

Fe leading just doesn't make any sense for me. I suck at Fe. And Fi. I rarely know how I feel, and I'm far more comfortable relying on what can be objectively qualified and quantified than on subjective feelings or morals. And as I mentioned in my quote above: "Even drunk as described above, however, I'm still generally more pragmatic and logical than most of the people around me. I frequently get weird looks for it. It's the kind of look people give Bones when they think she's being overly rational/logical." People make comments about it, too.

I don't need to be with someone who will help me be rational and objective and logical and pragmatic. I need someone who will be warm and affectionate. Someone who manages the status of the relationship (because I totally and hopelessly suck at that ). Someone who is clear about how they feel... and who knows how I feel... because like I said, I sure as hell don't.

So yeah, for those reasons, the dichotomy that I'm most sure of is logic. After that, I'm most sure that I'm Se/Ni > Ne/Si. And I really doubt I'm ILI (or any other IP). That leaves LIE, SLE, and LSI.

I don't know why but somehow I knew this day would come.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

For what it's worth, I've always thought you had the writing style of a Static type. ENTjs generally tend to have a far more voluminous, dynamic and "enthusiastic" way of speaking, like the opening poster of this thread:

Youtube: Let's play Civ IV is up! - Civilization Fanatics' Forums

That being said, I'm not sure if calling yourself ISTj will solve more problems than it creates anew.

What types and temperaments are most and least likely to act like this at a party???

    I'm not LIE.

I'm not any type. Socionics is just some fun theory that an old Russian lady came up with. It's not something that should influence my self-image or relationships. I'm going to consciously deprogram my assumptions about my desires, strengths, and weaknesses.

    I'm done with this bullshit.

    I'm done with this bullshit.
    Good luck with that.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

you are just trying to make socionics less important so that it doesn't feel too bad that you don't know your type.

Why aren't you honest with yourself.

You don't know your type and that sucks. And I don't mean this in a bad way, I hope you'll find your type, and can confirm it with relationships etc. But stop trying to fool yourself.
