Yeah, I wonder. He reminds me of one dude I'm training that's some macaulay culkin/haley joel osment kind of guy. He's pretty inquisitive and confirmation seeking. Probably one of the better new hires I've had lately. But then again, most of the people I've been training lack intensity and/or are hobbits.

Honestly, I'm not even 60% sure he's INFp... I've wavered between ENFj and Fe-INFp... BTW, Michael Stipe, in the above video, is similar... EIE or INFp--I can't really tell.

My best guesses are Fe- INFp for Culkin and Ni-ENFj for Stipe.

I'm not sure. Strrrng looks more focused; like ready to spring into battle at any minute. On the other hand, Macaulay looks like the sort of person that wouldn't withstand a direct attack effectively. He would wilt like a flower under an acid rain.

He's looking ESTj to me. I used to think he was ENTp a long time ago because of the stereotypes attributed to them and how he seemed to play that kind of role in Home Alone. However it does not seem like a fit.

Furthermore, his energy level seems too high to be static and EP. EPs have an "at rest" quality to them, and from watching Culkin's videos and expressions in pictures, there seems to be a forward push to his energy.

He IS reactive and seemingly spontaneous behaviorally, which I can see as tempting to pin as EP, but this is not the same thing.

As a side note, he has the sort of controlled prep-ness I've seen in Deltas which differs from any I've seen in Alphas.

He is likely a 3w4.

In typing him, I think his relationship with Michael Jackson, Fi INFj (maybe some 4) is something to consider.



Let's compare an ENTp 3 with him, since that is one consideration proposed in this thread:



See the difference in facial expressions, how Bale's are more fixed, static, and at rest while Culkin's are quite lively and even "directive" - as in reaching out? Also, Culkin seems immediately focused and immersed in his environment, while ENTps always seem to have a quality of looking in from the outside, observing the abstractions latent in what goes on in front of them. Si egos dwell in the actual environmental context development and can sometimes have a look of "looking out" to what Ne abstractions lie outside the immediate experience.

A second comparison, Hayden Christensen, Ti ENTp (possible 3 as well, maybe 2 wing)



The same contrast applies with Christensen and Culkin as with Bale and Culkin. Christensen, like Bale, is at rest, passively reactive, unlike the active dynamic-directive energy of Culkin.

This is also why I'm disinclined toward ENFp either, although that's closer than some of the other choices. I don't think ESFj because he doesn't seem to be an F-type, and he doesn't seem "affecting" in that way.

I highly doubt that Macauley Culkin is the same type... When one watches interviews, what strikes me is his engrossment in Ni... The two types I consider are Fe-INFp and Ni-ENFj.

Again, in typing--to think about temperaments before one thinks about what functions are used always seems to lead to erroneous typings.
