My parents are both an odd mix; my dad will socialize more quantitatively than my mother, whereas she is more outgoing and engaging, but social interaction drains her and she needs to "retreat." I am very selective about my social situations. I don't just go out and party or hang out in places with large groups of randoms; I tend to be somewhat withdrawn in such atmospheres and become deflated quickly. However among my close friends and family, I am very engaging and energetic, often leading conversation or being the center of attention/life of the party.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
My parents are younger than me, and we don't even live in the midwest.
Both parents introverted.
