School of Associative Socionics: INTp ~ ILI music

I am very gald that there are a fewpeople here who is interested in the development of socionics' typology of music. I would like to present to you some of the compositions from the thread "INTP music" from the Russian forum. I will ad a bit more (from this forum) or if you wish to add more to the INTP collection of music - that would be great. you do need to be INTP yourself or you can give the list of songs from the INTp you know. If you assume that the song could be one of INTP's songs may be it is better to post it first to the practicum so that we all could check it out first.
You can also help me to choose the best 10 INTP songs from the list I have. I need to sort them out somehow so that we have a nice diversity within the frame of INTP music.
I have chosen some songs which in my view reflect the Ego block or the mental block of the model A for INTP and left aside songs which could be shared with some other types. We shall need to chose together the songs for the future musical test, where the music could help a person to find his type and possibly subtype. Enjoy listening to the music of INTP!

Another things is that we need to describe somehow INTP music in words, to associate with something and to relate it to something.
When I listen to these songs I think about the fate because we can not stop the time. May be Si can but not Ni. the logic is simple the time of pay back surely will come and it will be not a nice one. We would rather think now what we are doing and which way we are heading (smile).

From the point of funcitons I was not sure what was it? Because it was a bit differnt from Ni -music as a clear dynamic development. Here it is rather relaxation, inner peace and harmony. Could it be Si + Ni or mainly Si?

I'm somewhat doubtful about some of those songs having to do with NiTe's in spesific. Although with Ni, sure. Or was that just the point?

It's hard to come up with musicians that I can be certain that they are NiTe's, instead of NiFe's or betas in general. It's probably difficult for most NiTe's to find the people to make music with.

Anyway I like music that's loaded with Se and Ni. But those are probably mostly made by betas, of those I could give lot of examples.

I'm glad I gave you some good points in the past. I'm not exactly an expert on socionics music, so I'll just say I enjoy those pieces quite so, at least currently, and definitely have to do with my personality in some fashion.

Wellcome! I love it myself to the bits. When I listen to the music of differnt types I can feel the different energy fields as if you get into sommebody's soul. This is like a new possibility to get to know somebody on a different level of sensation. No way I could do it by myself but thanks to all who generously shares their soul with others and give the others the possibility to see and feel the world from the different perspecive - perspective of musical preferences.
I never thought about the type of Peter Gabriel. I looked at his pictures but nothing came to my mind. I am gong to open a new thread where we could discuss the types of singers or just suggest sometimes opinion on a possible type.

Thanks for very interesting posts. Never heard anything like that. I posted your examples to the Russian forum but no reaction so far. I try to think that if the music is heavy loaded with Ni and introverted then it should be in combintaion rather with Te then with Se. Only in case of irrational opposition we can consider something like that. May be at some point we shall come to discuss this matter too. At the moment I am learning to differentiate between the leading blocks and functions in music. I noticed that sometimes the music could sound somewhat similar but the text shows slightly differnt fucntions as leading. For example I can say that it is introverted logical songs or introverted ethical but it is difficult to decide upon the block Superid or Superego withouth looking into the words. May be because some fucntions are in the vital block- they confuse me.

I would like to add some songs loved by INTPs which may benot overly typical for this type. But it is obvious to suggest that the range of favourite songs and music can be wide. I enclude mainly new songs in a new list of music. If you have a wish to comment, either positive or negative, please, do so as it is very interesting for me to hear subjective opinions. Thank you all for the lovely music! Dimaond Dave song has a very funny video. the singer reminded me on two other singers. One of them is the blond lady form Abba, which is thought to be an INFJ type (?). And another one is the Russian singer which is a definete INTP -Edita Pyecha:

The idea of considereing very different songs as favourite is that we show not just the typical INTP's music but also some other music which may be liked by some other INTPs However, for the musical test we shall choose that particular INTP's music which can help to determine the typefirst of all. Of course, it would be great if we could include in the test not only the INTP music but also the INTP singers singing the INTP music.
