Default One more time. The last time.

Well, Sergei Ganin thinks I'm ESxp. Rick thinks I'm ENFj. You all know what I think. So tell me what you think.

You can see Rick's thread if you so choose, but I feel like it may be beneficial to post Sergei Ganin's observations here as well.

Quote Originally Posted by Sergei Ganin
The way I see it you have Se written all over you despite your almost intuitive appearance. I have no doubt that you may indeed be interested in more N stuff than S. I've met S people before that were quite air headed and behaved as if they were fragile intuitives, but I also met N people that were the opposite. Testing and behaviour is quite irrelevant. Interests, well you have to give examples because there is a possibility that they will somehow interrelate to S although at first looking like N. The health, well S people can also neglect their health. I don't know what do you know about Se, but it is not just bullying and pushing, although I can kind of sense it a little bit from you, hehe. Well I don't know 100% which one you are, I would just go with ESTp but ESFp is also an attractive possibility.[

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I am yet to see your Ne. To be interested in Ne if you are an Ne type is not enough. Ne types show Ne. If you think you can show Ne, be my guest show it to me, I can tell Ne when I see it, it's my favourite. In my opinion the only thing you have demonstrated so far that remotely relates you to an ENTp is your Ti and a bit of Fe HA. But ENTps and ESTps are practically the same when it comes to these two functions. You said yourself you're a bit of a narcissist. What do you think this is? Ne or Se? Would you say you quite enjoy posing in front of a camera or checking yourself in the mirror? I've seen your pictures.

Why do you need to increase your dopamine, because you are some sort of ADD/ADHD? If this is the case then this is your answer to everything, your quick change of interests, your intuitiveness and your lack of Se. Nevertheless, your Se is all over your face: heavy chin, large mouth, large nose, thick lips, thick eyebrows, curly hair, piercing eyes, etc. ENTps are more refined than that. I realise it sounds ridiculous and of course any one of those features on its own means nothing but all together they mean something. I would say that the only feature that may indicate intuitiveness is that you have elongated face and some facial features, but these just merely show that you have predisposition to intuition, that intuition could be of more concern to you than it would be to some short fat sensing guy, for example. I have also met an ESTp and ESFp with similar facial set up as yours, that's why I am quite confident about your Se and not entirely sure that you're not an ESFp. By the way I wonder who told you that you were an ESFp?

This is it, this is the best I can do to explain to you why I don't think you're an ENTp and why I think you might be an ESTp instead.
And there you have it: why I'm an ESTp o_O

We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Holy shit, how I hate that kind of advertising.

ENTp, Gilligan, ENTp. Be proud of it, already!

I actually am going to tentatively assume you're an ILE unless something new comes up. What else can you do if the person knows about the different functions and is convinced that they all fit? I don't quite see yet how everything fits together, but that's fine.

I don't KNOW that you're ENTp, but it seems apparent that your girlfriend is your dual, so if you've typed her correctly, you're an ENTp. If there's any chance she's an INFp, then ESTp is a possibility. Who cares though, right?

well if now you're saying you are ESTp then I guess thats we'll have to consider you as being. Ganin had some interesting things to say btw concerning ADD and people acting "intuitive".

    ESTP

    Me:

    -ESTps generally have slim figures
-Slim ESTps have slow and phlegmatic movements, giving the impression of calmness and self-confidence.
-Their eyebrows are often asymmetrical. When ESTps want to show their dissatisfaction they frown as if they are angry.
-. They may have thick, immobile lips, making their speech somewhat garbled.
-They also have a tendency to squint.
-ESTps rarely wear eye-catching clothes. They try to maintain a neutral style of clothes, steering away from fashion.
-When in conversation, ESTps always show self-restraint and tact. They generally interact in an open and friendly manner, always showing positive emotions. They do not like to openly express their opinions. During interaction ESTps always try to show that they are paying full attention and that they understand their interlocutor very well. One of the ways they do this is by asking many questions concerning personal problems or opinions. They do this with masterful tact and delicacy, therefore gaining other peoples trust very quickly.
-ESTps have a very characteristic way of behaving when in conversation. They can pause for long periods of time before replying to questions or statements. This can give the impression that they are assimilating the received information. In situations such as these they usually squint. ESTps are never afraid to show others that they did not understand or do not know something and therefore never hesitate ask people to repeat or to specify what they said. ESTps enjoy showing their understanding and like to explain things to others. They always do this slowly and methodically giving simple, practical examples. They also prefer to have the last word in conversations, concluding the dialogue themselves.
-When in confrontation, ESTps quickly focus on their opponents weaknesses, usually destroying them with one perfectly placed phrase. If this opportunity does not manifest itself, they have the skills to provoke the reaction they desire. ESTps are very slow to anger.
-They like games that require quick thinking and tactics and often win these games as they have great skill misleading and provoking their opponents into making bad moves.
-If required they can step on anyone or anything often ignoring ethics completely if the situation calls for it. If a project becomes too big and difficult for them to control by themselves, they will delegate the less important parts of the project, giving others complete independence to make their own decisions. ESTps do not care much how people achieve results. They give others complete independence to choose their own method of working, as they consider the end result to be more important.
-ESTps are very tactically minded and know how to adapt to changing situations very quickly. They know how to arrange people according to their abilities and usefulness. They prefer to adopt an informal and unofficial leadership. They also do not like doing their own dirty work. ESTps are hard working and extremely persevering people. The more obstacles they meet the more obvious these qualities become. They do not react well to unchallenging situations. They truly come alive in the face of adversity. ESTps are inclined to give ultimatums.

    Not Me:

ESTps generally prefer to remain in the shadows.
ESTps are very slow to anger. And when they do become angered it is very difficult for them to calm down.
Their noses are usually quite wide at the base and their jaws are also large and square.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Sergei's comments were quite interesting, but I can't quite see SLE in you. Your gaze is always more joking than heavy, and is often simply spacey. However, I have one more version that is worth looking into :

I asked Gilligan this question, and I am basing my opinion on the answer:

"Between Se and Ne, which is something that you just sorta automatically do, and which do you feel you SHOULD do?"

I don't know which I naturally do, but I think I feel the need to be confident more than I feel the need to see possibilities or options; that's more of a natural consideration.

Yeah, but I'm talking about rash confidence, not just a stoic outward image. There's a difference: the former is Se, the latter is Ti.

    I know lol

I think the problem is that I have SO MUCH that I can see all the possibilities for me being a different type, and with I can rationalize each and every one of them to myself, so I just end up confused. But, in the final analysis, I think I am very much ENTp.

Sure, whatever. I say you're my conflicting partner and you're causing me a headache. Kraus might see her contrary partner in you. To Rick you're a dual which is pretty much why he's got endless patience for you. Could be wrong of course. The thread is boring me to tears. Have fun.

I don't think passive aggressive is the right word, but I still do think that you're a sensory style ISFp, able to demonstrate both and , something that resembles but isn't because it's actually strong and very little intuition. I think it fits your behaviour and at least some of the relationships you have on forum.

And I'm sorry that I'm not able to try to help in a kinder way but I'm feeling defensive and I think it's because someone is hitting my PoLR. I'm not going to comment on this anymore because it wouldn't have good results. Sorry again and good luck on your search for your type.

Ok, thank you for your input.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

ILE. Failing that, you aren't Beta. Wrong "attitude" (for lack of a better word).

The way I see it, if I wasn't ENTp (or at least Ne dominant), I wouldn't be seeing the potential in myself to be all these different types.

And no, I'm not ENFp. Ask Joy.
