Default School of Associative Socionics: Music, Art, Poetry of TPE SuperEgo Types (LII, EII, LSI, ESI)

    TPE Superego (music, art, poetry...)
In this thread I welcome rational intraverts to paste the examples of their favourite music. If you know your type for sure, please, state it at the start of the list. You could also paste here poetry, photos of your creative work or just pictures which reflect your soul the best. I hope this thread will represent Superego-types and Superego-energy in a distinctive, original way!

I was thinking about this song earlier today because I think it is a good reflection of my soul. This video does a good job of that too. I adore time lapse nature.

I've posted these songs in other threads, but I think you will find a common trend and energy in the music I show here. These are among some of my absolute favorite songs.

I have typed myself as an INFj.

Thanks, tereg. I will listen tomorrow. The first compositon is refreshing, peaceful and realxing, IMO. The plants looked a bit like animals at the beginning, unusual.

I managed to listen to the all music from tereg. Everything went nicely through my "energy metabolism".
At the moment the internet a bit slow, but I will try my best to listen to all the music, which have been posted into my threads. I also invite you to comment on each other's music if you wish to do so. It is always interesting to here how the others feel about your music.
Many thanks to all. More new music - threads on the way!

Thanks for sharing your music! It is a bit more difficult to perceive music if it is of a differnt culture or even of a different genre. However, it feels like it is the right sort of music for Superego: it is predominantly static, peaceful, not loud. I would suggest the influence of Id-energy, because it is a cheerful music at the same time.

I am sure that you can translate the text by google well enough to understand what is said. Cathie also speaks English. She was a bit dissapointed that not many INFJs so far joint the thread. I am going to add your music and tereg's today. You can also do it at any time there if you register.

I don't really know if I believe in the whole music and socionics combination, but for some reason this song just seems so ESI, not just, especially in the sense of how instrumentation is described in the wikisocion, but the lyrics even, naturally. I love this song.

    This one is playable:

I love it too. This song could be representative for the whole Superego types compared to the other 3 groups. As we all (all 16 types) have got this energy to a different degree we can all like the song to that degree. May be there are some songs which are representatives of particular type-group and they are so good that it is difficult not to like them at all even if it is not your type of music. That means we can all connect with each other if it is about real beauty and all-human values.

I would put it representative of Fi, but in all honesty its a good song. That's what music does, if its good, everyone likes it. But it hit a certain spot within me at this time. I have a lot of hidden agenda moments with more popular songs, and more Ni moments with a lot of orchestral music. But there always seems to be emotions running within me, and its part of my musical ear.

Default School of Associative Socionics: TPE Super-ego (Music and art)

Hi to all, here you can post the usic and art which in your opinion belongs to TPE Super-ego and Superego-types.In Socionics, the TPE - groups are formed through the interchange of three basic dichotomies: extraversion-introversion, rationality-irrationality, and statics-dynamics.

    S - sensing, L- logical (thinking), I – intuitive, E – ethical (feeling), i - introvert, e -extravert.

Superego-types – are the rational, static introverts such as Fyodor Dostoyevsky (EIi), Theodore Dreiser (ESi), Maximilien Robespierre (LIi), Maxim Gorky (LSi).

TPE Superego in music corresponds to a weak, targeted, controlled energy flow.

"Superego-music mostly can be likened to church music. This is calm, serious music where a person can open one’s soul, consult personal values and express one’s deepest beliefs, on the basis of which the person is building his/her life, and keeping as the main motives of his/her actions. Superego music is able to distract the individual from his/her personal problems and draw the attention to universal needs and moral values. There is no intention to impose one’s will, by all means, when struggling with the external obstacles. This music does not normally contain any of the tension or dynamics seen with Ego music, equally having no reach for endless pleasures or joyful/childishly careless states seen with Id music and having no intention to go deeper into the fantasised world and illusions of Superid music. Superego music, while peaceful and spiritual by its content, influences you to think thoroughly on your deeds, re-value your motives, and apply it with the eternal values of love and kindness in the relationship between people and in relation to some higher paradigm (God), whether it is an ideology or religion or sense of justice and order". In this piece of music of Borodin there are a few TPEs at once which is quite typical for classical music as it is more complex. The start is TPE Superego and then Ego. So we can say that this music has a rational profile Superego-Ego. An may be also TPE Id when there is an obvious dansing part.

Believe me they are not. Associative socionics is a part of socionics in Russia. You can have a look on the Russian forum if you wish. It is a lot of fun - to explore it and if I would have a chance to have my own sub-orum - people would love to post their music into the thread of music of their types ....and only then you would see for yourself how similar their music is!

Have a look on the IEE - type of music on the Russian forum: http://www.socioforum.su/viewtopic.php?f=789&t=25250

I'm sure the associations exist, but since when is Gotye Ij temperament? I thought he was established to be IEE. I dunno. I question some of the individual typings.

I see now where you come from....It is not an idea to base the music typing on the type of the singer/author because the artists can have wide diaposon of styles. But at the same time we do consider that the singers -composers do "sing their type out" and they are the best to understand the typological differrences. If you have doubts about Gotye, then move your focus to the general view of music pieces in this thread and try to evaluate them on the criteria of 3 basic dichotomies: extro-intro, statics-dynamics and ratio - irratio. Does this music seems similar to you in some way? Can you relate it to basic dichotomies somehow?
