    HE AM MURLOC!

Delta Quadra is actually filled with rebellious punks and counter-culture no-lifers, btw. Seriously.

Betas are wussy, what you talkin bout?

I think people on this forum make Si look like peaceful and comforting (what a lame stereotype), even though it's just as tough as Se, maybe tougher. It's just more internal and stable.

    Let me rephrase then.

I am too serious for Alpha.
Too wussy and boring for Beta.
    Too wishy-washy for Gamma.

    Too inferior for Beta.
    Too mentally derailed for Delta.

Yeah, if you're a delta. Alphas don't put up with that shit though. They will make deltas sleep on the nails until they have built their house for them. They will kiss your eyes and smile at your wounds while you pain, so you feel awkward.

Yeah, remember there is like an 80 year age difference between alphas and deltas. Delta is like that old man who is turning around slowly with his cane because has no clue what is going on and he needs his pill and nap.

That's not completely right to say, but it's kinda right.

Betas NFs are externally boring, sort of like Gamma NTs. The inside is where it counts.

Then again Fe has always been quite boring to me, so might as well count ENTP in the mix.

Ok, I'm trying to say that to them, those are "pitfall" attributes that I think they think about me.

It doesn't matter if other quadras or clubs or types are boring or whatever. They are just the things that I think other quadras see in people like me that are generally the pitfall for their standard of happy/reasonable living.

Interesting. I get this sense from Alphas that they take the "wrong things" too seriously, and likewise, don't value the same things as me.

I don't think I'm Delta... it just doesn't work every time I've tried it on in my head. This makes me happy, to rule one quadra out. I don't think I'm Beta either. I think it's Alpha or Gamma and I can kind of see both because one is the other's shadow side.

    I'm Beta.

I'm too serious and self-absorbed for Alpha
I'm too unpredictable and high-minded for Delta
I'm too stormy and unreliable for Gamma.

I'm too intense and ambitious for Alpha
I'm too driven and eccentric for Delta
I'm too daring and idealistic for Gamma.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Except for the part were Deltas can be eccentric and unpredictable. Just look at Isha and Gul. Isha is eccentric and Gul is unpredictable.

    EDIT

Ok, so Gul is eccentric as well.

    You're more quirky than eccentric.

You're not unpredictable in the same way; you're not emotionally volatile, liable to do dangerous things, have major shifts in life rhythms over the course of a day...at least not that I can see.

Sure. But have you ever bonked someone on the head with a wooden avocado? Or called them unannounced on their birthday to sing them a song you'd only spent the night before practicing?

The solution is to use a different word to "unpredictable". "Unstable and destructive" perhaps?

See, that's quirky. I don't mean that "normal" people see me as loony or weird. They do, sometimes, but only when I'm acting out/intentionally being goofy. When I say I am eccentric, I mean that people usually see me as overly serious, that some things that I say are unsettling, that I think about the world at large in a way that most people find either disturbing or confusing. If you entered my headspace, you would probably either be concerned for my mental well-being, or totally revolted by the way I see things.

The solution is to use a different word to "unpredictable". "Unstable and destructive" perhaps?
I'm not unstable, though. By all objectively measurable standards, I live a relatively normal life for someone my age. And I'm not ragingly destructive, either; I have a few speeding tickets under my belt, but other than that my record is clean. I'm not violent, I don't break things or go buck wild. I didn't mean to say "unstable" or "destructive;" I said exactly what I mean.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

The problem here is that you are, intentionally or not, taking the words I use at face value, without placing them in the intended context. It's obvious how Delta and Beta are different; think about the words in reference to that comparison.

It's fairly apparent, however, that you are ultimately light-hearted, or at least desire to be, and that your ambitions, whether they be political, personal, or financial, are most likely a bi-product of the desire for stability. Your 6 thread says it all; you strive, above all, to avoid uncertainty and doubt, to "arrive" at a place where these are no longer an issue. Betas, even 6s, live with these factors as constant, irreconcilable undertones in their approach to life, and these in themselves are what drive them to expand without regard for limitations or the presumption of "arriving" at a desired end-point.

Of course you must see that you have totally disregarded the set of overtly negative descriptors; here you are simply attempting to discredit the rationale behind what I am expressing because you feel somehow limited by my encapsulations of quadra values. These are simply my words, expressing only my views on how I see my own personal differences and areas of incongruence with other quadras. I write with the implicitly assumed premise, as tereg did with his OP, that my words will not be read as authority on how quadras are to be viewed, but simply how I see myself as different from those quadras; I did attempt to retain some sense of objective interpretive value by both listing positive and negative qualities, as well as not using language that is...extreme as how I might describe the aforementioned discrepencies from a purely personal standpoint, but nonetheless, especially given the subjective format of the exercise, you can hardly attempt to standardize what I have said here with any regard for intellectual honesty. Unless you have simply misinterpreted me and the idea of this whole exercise.

Additionally, you, like Gul, have taken these adjectives without proper context, as they are delivered in light of the assumptions of what quadra values entail, and how they provide a scope for the meaning of the words used. The words are not meant to be taken only in their literal meaning, but also how they naturally apply within the context of the quadras I am attempting to contrast.

We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

I've had an epiphany. I've come to realize that I cannot be a Gamma; one of those pragmatic money-loving backstabbers who have not an ounce of imagination or decency in them, and are boring as hell. I find the idealism of delta, and their quadra mottos, much more fitting for my overall persona. But then again, I also lie from time to time to entice someone by appearing more interesting than what I really am, although I do it just for fun sometimes too. I've also womanized a few persons, and have been womanized as well (not too much though). But for the most part I am a law abidding citizen who works for the common good and the betterment of society, who also likes that everybody gets along with each other, and enjoys fun once in a while. So I guess I am going to start my own quadra, which will be Aristocratic, and will have me as its only constituent. All hail the Ҹ Quadra!

Hey we're imaginative and idealistic. Gamma NTs, boring though yes. Much so. And I'm not convinced a lot of ILIs are as keen on making money as they are keen on thinking. Have to think about money before you can make it, one of the idealist principles. Think long and hard, and preferably sit somewhere quiet, like a tall-towered library in the middle of the sea.
