    Default Good Function Descriptions

I've been reading a lot of Russian socionics websites. Here is a set of function descriptions that I really like. (Although you have to deal with the issues of reading a machine translation.):

    Google Translate

    Notes:
    1) I don't agree with all of Gulenko's +/- descriptions at the bottom of the page.
    2) In the description of Fe, "uncomfortable" should be read as "comfortable."

I like them because they are simple and in line with my observations of the functions. (It seems logical to think that two independent observations that are quite similar might at least be pointing in the direction of accuracy...)

Te: business profits, effectiveness, feasibility, technology
Ti: speculative structure, system, scientific theories
Fe: excited state (mood) and its external manifestations
Fi: relationships, feelings of sympathy, antipathy, love-hate
Se: urge to action, ownership of space, strong-willed
Si: harmony spatial forms, a sense of comfort, well-being
Ne: ability to evaluate the internal contents, the potential of this object
Ni: foreboding, forecast, the ability to capture the dynamics of development, the poetic imagination, mystical feeling

Yes, especially these are good and simple.

Thank you, Jarno. It's weird, because whenever I post something like this, you usually agree with me. (I think it's a sign that we see socionics in a similar way...)

I don't relate to any of these... no offense.

It's better just to say I relate to all of these, but not that strongly.

    Maybe Te.

Seems pretty good. I'm not sure about his correlations of T = matter, S = space, etc.; that seems a little forced. Unless it's only meant as a metaphor or something.

But yeah, the section Jarno posted is one of the better concise descriptions of the functions I've seen.

Since I've started studying this, I've liked these ones a lot:

Ah, yes, that's the one I use as my primary reference. Socionics.us as a whole is awesome.

Agreed. (But I think it is only a metaphor...)

That's okay, because if you posted a set of function descriptions, I would probably have issues with them as well.

(So goes the highly subjective nature of one's socionics understanding...)
