Confirmed: IEE.
Aren't ESEs notorious for this or something?

In relationships/friendships, I am almost always the most verbal one by far. I feel uncomfortable when I'm not.
And if you want to hear verbosity and tangents out the ass, just ask me to explain something like how the PCI bus works.
Binary or dichotomous systems, although regulated by a principle, are among the most artificial arrangements that have ever been invented. -- William Swainson, A Treatise on the Geography and Classification of Animals (1835)
I do this as well so I don't think it's a necessarily IEE, ESE trait. Though for me it typically comes as a surprise for people as in groups of people I keep to myself but in one on one conversations I tend to not stop talking unless stopped. And the way I talk non stop is that I talk about somethign I know non stop. Basically dispensing knowledge about some topic I am well versed in, try to teach the other person.

I can sometimes ramble... the last time I did, it was a constant stream of correcting myself on increasingly trivial points about logic.

I like people that tell stories, especially if they're funny or humorous.
Like how I respond to "Wassup" is usually... "nothing much... wassup with you..."
Really... tell me wassup... I'm bored out of my mind... give me some slice of life so I can live vicariously thru you... is that too much to ask?

I am not a particularly chatty IEE....I will talk when the topic and time are right. I am definitely not a chatterbox. However, my LSI husband is a talker. Yak, yak, yak... How can a damn introvert talk so much?? He dominates almost every conversation.....I thought it was supposed to be the other way 'round.
It's so easy to love me! I'm an IEE!!

I know an LSI who is also a talker. definitely. actually, I know two of them now that I think about it. both talkers. but they pick and choose. they don't just talk about anything, it has to be something that interests them. I think that's true of most introverts though. Gosh, I can talk on about some stuff. And my SEI friend talks on and on once you get him going. but maybe the question is, do they initiate the talking? I don't think so. I think it's more that the introverts are given the opportunity, a clear listening ear, and then it flows out of them. Whereas ESEs and IEEs, etc. are more of the initiators. maybe?

People seem to ramble on when you're uninterested in what they're saying.
Cmon, like never? I don't think so. Btw..to initiate the talking one has to have a reason to do so, unless you're an extrovert. Just kidding, they have their reasons too, it's just that some(many) of those reasons wouldn't be sufficient for introverts to initiate talking.
Hahaha, yes, I do this all the time! Well, not all the time, but a lot of the time. Although I guess that depends on what qualifies as "a lot". I mean, percentage-wise, it's really not that huge of a percentage. But it's still more than most people. So I guess what I'm saying is that I've done this before. Well, except...
Et cetera ad nauseum.
Quaero Veritas.

Yeah, I know that Gul is male. Anyway, it is already proven(I think, although I'm not completely sure) that women in general talk more than men. However, I'd really want to know do ENTj women talk more than ENTj men. I'd really want to know do ESTj women talk more than ESTj men. I'd really want to know do ESFj women talk more than ESFj men. I'd really want to know do ENFj women talk more than ENFj men. I'd really want to know do ENTp women talk more than ENTp men. I'd really want to know do ESTp women talk more than ESTp men. I'd really want to know do ESFp women on average talk more than ESFp men. I'd really want to know do ENFp women talk more than ETFp men. I'd really want to know do INTj women talk more than INTj men. I'd really want to know do ISTj women talk more than ISTj men. I'd really want to know do ISFj women talk more than ISFj men. I'd really want to know do INFj women talk more than INFj men. I'd really want to know do INTp women talk more than INTp men. I'd really want to know do ISTp women talk more than ISTp men. I'd really want to know do ISFp women talk more than ISFp men. I'd really want to know do INFp women talk more than INFp men. I'd really want to know does the most talking men type talk more than the least speaking women type. On average, of course. I'd really want to know many things.
All I really need is for someone to say about five words of interest in the topic, appear to be interested, and ask me an occasional question, and I'm off talking.
I remember once talking for about an hour on the phone and realizing the guy had only asked me questions, or made one word comments, but yet would kinda encourage me to ramble on. So I did, and could have for much longer, lol.
But, w/o the interest from the other person, or if I don't feel comfortable w/ them, I'll actually be super quiet.
