Albeit they are just forum posts, but, no one else gets mega E2 vibes from her postings?

    Right

That being said, can you see yourself as regressing into E8? That perhaps seems much less likely. Especially based on what little I know about some experiences where you've been really stressed, etc, you don't particularly strike me as "descending" into E8. So, hmmm.

Perhaps 4 would fit you best.

not only ashton. but also with the betas on the forum. she seems to prefer a beta atmosphere imo. from her posts, she does not seem to dislike Se but rather welcomes it.

What type of environment, specifically? The stereotypical beta environment? Have you observed her on stickam?

My point was, her type should be determined more by the content of her posts, rather than some association with one person who you deem beta.

the ashton environment. and, yes, i have observed her on stickam to a limited extent and i think that an Fe type is more plausible. the fact, however, that she stuck with it for an extensive time and avoided making waves about it says a lot to me.

i don't remember fully what the typing was based on. nonetheless, christy is far more active on stickam (or was, anyway) than on the forum. i think ignoring the intertype relations here is a rather haphazard dismissal of some very telling information, definitely not based on merely "one person who i deem beta."

I think that growing up in an almost totally beta environment could have made me view beta interaction as "normal", since I needed to understand this way of behaving in order to survive. This does't mean it is the easiest way for me to behave or the most natural or comfortable way to interact, but I do understand it.

Having said that, I get along with certain beta individuals, yes, but I also get along with deltas and alphas and gammas. Based on the idea that I should be beta because I get along with betas, couldn't I really be from any other quadra, since I get along with people of all quadras?

nope sorry... the only interraction that matter for Socionics typing is how you get along with Ashton.

I don't know ChristyB well enough to type. Sorry, Christy. I had a long birth-inspired absence. Not my own birth. In case that isn't clear.

Well if he's typed right, it ought to give a pretty good indication anyway, if she really is either EII or IEI. A lot of ifs in this whole Socionics thing, though. But it seems like meeting in person is probably about as good as it gets.
