I'd say one of the EJ types; which one depends on what sort of event it is. creative is probably better if you expect a bunch of people to be present at once, and dominant is preferable for having fun. As for ENTj - a long-running business is a type of project, right?

What about EPs?
umm, this seems like a proactive and dynamic sphere of activity. EJ imo.
EP would be best at understanding the factors at play during specific stages of the event and wouldd prepare themselves to react to such factors, but would be less likely to proactively alter the factors like IJ types would.
