nevermind.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

~a certain mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious.

First, are you talking about shy people in a non-type way, or about introverted socionics types?
Second, it's a mistake to lump "European countries" together.
But anyway, in general, I'd say that in some European countries it's more socially acceptable to be "shy" or "introverted" in the outgoing sense, as in Germany and perhaps the Scandinavian countries. But that is not the case of Spain or Italy.

Christ, Blake, I thought you knew about us two and that's why you created this thread.
@implied: Why would that make you un-ESFp? I've always seen you as quite openly expressive. If you were to say you've been holding back, I would be quite surprised.
I'm talking about shyness unrelated to Socionics type.Originally Posted by Expat
Well, I ask this question, because in America dating practices are highly aggressive, like if you don't get up off your ass, you will never get any, ever. So more or less, being a shy submissive male in America is the worst thing you could possibly be when it comes to dating. And I just had the impression that things in Europe (I'm talking about central and northern Europe) were much easier and fair. Like I heard Kim saying one time that people don't date in the same way in Germany like Americans do.

everybody can accomodate for introverted behavior
in socionics introversion is not to do with behaviour, but is a quality
Edited for Coneness.

Transigent, how does that have anything to do with anything?
Indeed, we will.Originally Posted by implied
