no children were allowed at my wedding. but partly that was because I had no nieces or nephews nor had any of my friends had kids yet. otherwise it might've been different.

I can see why not. Interestingly, I can't think of any weddings i've been at where there is children.
When/if I get married..the bride can decide this one!
I personally won't be having anyone but my closest family members at my wedding.
Probably, if I ever even have one at all.

I want nothing but children at my wedding. I also want a petting zoo.
Something like that would be a likely option, too, depending on circumstances and how I (and my partner) feel at the moment. And if there is a ceremony it won't be a regular one, but something small, inventive and a bit out of the ordinary probably. Conventionality is boring.

If and when I married, I also want to keep my last name.

I know SO MANY women in my community who have done this, for whatever reason. And it's really annoying! I mean because once you have children your name is different from the family name and it gets confusing and creates more names that everyone has to learn. Unless there's some good reason for it (like you're already a well-known author or actress), why not simplify?

Solution: husband changes his name. Just to screw with social convention ;D
Lol, here I was, thinking I was original again. *throws it in a bin with "friendgirl"*
Yeah, I think I knew some people who've done that. Or at least I'm sure I've heard of.

That being said, I'm glad I didn't have to take one of those home, 'cause I'm sure their blood sugar was through the roof. lol
Awesome! Except the goats might try to eat their dress clothes. Pesky critters.I also want a petting zoo.

I got into a fight at a wedding with the bride's son, I was ten at the time and really had no clue what the big deal was about. I have also worked at 4-5 weddings, and they are the absolute worst events to cater.
