IEEs! I'm inspired now

What scares you in your dealings with SLIs? What worries you? What locks you up, or worse: locks you down? It doesn't have to be SLIs even.

We are, I fear, hopelessly at the whims of our ever-spinning minds and occasionally niggling anxieties. But lately, I feel, "Yes we can!"

And I totally didn't rip that off Obama! He stole it from me, the jerk

On the flipside however, only we can tap that RAW POWAH OF DREAMS. Only we can tilt at a windmill and make it blush. Those smelly ILEs have nothing on us!

But we have real human problems, as unbelievable as it may sound. We are not super-fantastic crazy fun awesome amazing superhuman superpeople with superior superpowers of awesomeness... well, actually, we are. But we have our fears! And our tears! As it turns out, it's a bit of a mad world.

I don't think he's an unhealthy NeFi, or "unhealthy" at all. I think that terminology has leaked in from people who use the enneagram, because there are distinct qualities between "healthy" and "unhealthy" types. And at the same time, Pirate, I'd think you're more SeFi than NeFi, So you're kinda in the same boat lol

I think it'd be better if we just gave up trying to figure it all out. I think that's the main problem. Another thread where IEEs whine about SLIs isn't going to help much.

I feel we need to stop trying to make things work and just go with our guts on this whole epic struggle of dealing with headfuck that I believe comes directly from Socionics!

Personal experience tells me I'm not Fi PoLR, though. At any rate, it's clear to me, and beyond that, I've little desire to vindicate my own typing.

But it would be nice if people stopped fighting me every step of the way >:

And although I often find myself having personal knowledge I cannot convey to the forum, I understand that it in no way should provide immunity from people typing me.

I can't speak for you, but sometimes I get stuck trying to navigate microscopic nuances and worst case scenarios. It's taken some effort on my part not to be a miseryguts and to start focusing on the best possible outcomes instead. I still get bogged down in details and paradoxes, though, which is why I need my totally awesome duals

I definitely much prefer dealing with a low-key air of intimacy. Plus, I totally can't handle large groups. Basically some clever people who I trust noted this.

Emotional extravagance might be what's throwing you off. But look at it this way: just because XEIs are diplomatic doesn't make them Fi-egos. Our demonstrative functions will always leak through. Likewise, XEEs can have a demonstrative bent.

At the end of the day, I've checked, imo, the most important box: "Do we get along?" And at any rate, we're both equipped to deal with trouble spots. This is what matters.

Yeah I prefer small group interaction generally.

And its not the emotional extravagance, its the way you feed off of the energy of conversations and try to stimulate such interactions yourself.

Like, I can literally feel what you are feeling just by how you write. Your mood soaks through your words.

All the relations you make (that I've observed) you consumate...

1. based on receptivity to the energy you are following
2. You then make such relations out in the open, extremely literal. Like a check list.

like:

"Me and Brilliand are friends" "You are an INTj, we are made for eachother" "Hey that was funny lets be friends"

Like, dude... you are the opposite of Fi/Te in your social interactions. You make all the relations so visible and out in the open (external, something that can be demonstrated and verified) and they are maintained by a sort of happy, laughing energy, and shared experience with that energy.

So you may ridicule what i just said, but Its obvious to me.
