I then waited for a bit, redid the test and got SLE, and that's what I normally get in Reinin tests, also dee's tests back when I thought I was IEE.

I'd like better if the test had had "more me" and "very much me" check box-possibilities, or, alternatively a "both/neither" alternative. In some of the questions, I really have no clue what alternative is more me, like the first question, for example.
    Thanks for trying it!

Unfortunately, with Reinin traits you are or you aren't, there is no half judicious/half-decisive (though depending on your type different small cycle traits may be more significant, however to equalize the test for all types I did not accommodate for this possibility). Since there are 16 types and 2^11 Reinin combinations, error is also probable...the asnwers are randomized every time you retake the test, it's programmed into the app. The first question pertained to static and dynamic...I tried to disguise the questions so that the traits would not be obvious, but they are still possible to figure out. I'm quite impressed that you eventually found your type, which is a 1 / 2^11 probbaility.

    Yep.

ETA: Also agree with Mimosa, some questions were quite hard to answer.
lol...how do you feel about leading?

The questions were not intended to be mutually exclusive, but rather a reflection of how you would be if faced with a choice at any particular moment or a general preference you may have.

seems pretty misrepresented around here, it's not all bubbles and unicorns...it's more about understanding how incompatible or just different viewpoints are possible and often merited. types are likely to rush through many emotions to piece together reality, whereas types will hold a rigid ethic as an objective around which everything else is subordinated.

I think I am going to adjust the test so that error-types have their own result...I'll see what else I can do; thanks for trying it out!

Apparently I am SLE after all.

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

You can miss 2 questions and still get the right type, because the error function doesn't collect as many points per question as the correct type.

I think the concept is ok, but the questions are too limited and unrelatable.

I got IEI, which is very off base.

Which dichotomies are these questions measuring?

Here's how I answered the questions. My responses are in bold.

    When you are learning, you...
    ...notice patterns.
    ...build concepts.
Well both, really. I use the patterns I see to build concepts.

    If something looks wrong, you...
...check it out from different angles.
    ...stay focused on what's important.
Both again, but more the former

    You try not to...
    ...confuse things.
    ...overlook details.
Both again, but I think its more important to do the first

    You know you...
    ...are always improving.
...have a lot on your mind.
I feel like I'm not improving as much as I'd like, so the second option

When something new comes up, you...
    ...accommodate each implication.
...come up with a quick solution.

    When you are disturbed, you...
    ...need to get focused again.
    ...move on and start over.

    When you are delayed, you...
    ...double your efforts.
    ...accept the situation.

    When new challenges arise, you...
    ...struggle for a win.
    ...try out new ideas.

When you are on the run...
...the devil you know is better.
...the devil you don't know is better.
I don't really understand this question. What is it trying to measure?

    When you seek help, you...
    ...help them understand.
    ...hide your sentiments.
Help them understand what? I'm not clear here but I'm guessing you mean help them understand why you're seeking help?

In general, you feel you are...
    ...just where you belong.
    ...alienated by everything.
    Well neither one really

    LII and IEI only share:
    merry
    emotivist
    result
    farsighted
    asking
which means you are IEI or you got 5 wrong...

I'd rather not give the answers just yet or the test will have no value

EDIT: you answered incorrectly as dynamic, aristocratic, creation-creating, decisive, tactical, and yielding

If you don't like your result just try it again. The questions are actually matched to the less obvious qualities of each Reinin trait - 11 questions = 11 traits.

Okay, several of these dichotomies are just wrong. How about making a test with several questions for each dichotomy, then it might be more accurate. Assuming the dichotomies have an empirical basis in reality which I'm not so sure they do.

And how do I strike you as EIE in the Tcaud sense?

The way you approached Fe, but I think I was wrong...I guess LII makes sense for you; I may add more questions in the future, as for an empirical basis, see User:Meganeura - Wikisocion

This test supports Expat's typing of Complicater-Complexer as ISFp, which after some consideration I now also support.

Well, this is a first lol I got TeSi, and I'm NeFi.

Pretty much, you have a lot of questions that either are hard to answer because they are not mutually exclusive, and also, some aren't really type related. For example:

    If something looks wrong, you...
...check it out from different angles.
    ...stay focused on what's important.

Everyone is going to assume what they do is going to focus on what's important, who's going to think that they way they approach problems is to look at the meaningless things? And, as well, some people will think that checking something out from different angles is focusing on what's important...

    As well as:

    You know you...
    ...are always improving.
...have a lot on your mind.

How are these mutually exclusive? For the type of improving that I'm thinking, I HAVE to have a lot on my mind to be improving. I can't even tell how this says anything about type. A lot of the options seemed to have something that was a negative implication and the other as positive, such as:

    You try not to...
    ...confuse things.
    ...overlook details.

Not many people willingly confuse things. You insinuate somewhat what you mean if the test taker assumes it's the opposite of overlooking details, but I think that there's another way you can do it.

Don't worry, I haven't seen a Socionics test that I've really approved of.

I said that these questions were not meant to be mutually exclusive (overlooking details?), anyway you answered like a serious autocrat, so I guess you are Delta.

That implicates subjectivism vs objectivism..I am glad that at least that part of the test is working well.

    Doesn't work. Said error.

However I was surprised to see I already have some facebook friends I know in real life the second I made an account.

In any case, I don't think I need a test to help me know what my dichotomies are, which in turn don't give me the correct type.

and what devil I know or don't know?

I am still curious though. Why doesn't your test work for me? I submitted my results like 10 times and nothing. I could write a better test that actually works without the help, or in this case lack of help, of facebook.

I'm guessing that the error message occurs when your responses to the questions don't closely fit one of the 16 types.

However I was surprised to see I already have some facebook friends I know in real life the second I made an account.

In any case, I don't think I need a test to help me know what my dichotomies are, which in turn don't give me the correct type.

and what devil I know or don't know?

Since there are 2^4 types and 2^11 combinations of Reinin dichotmies, only a few sets of results give correct types. The error function, which is not weighted as heavily as the chosen types, allows you to miss 2 traits and get 9 correct to display your type, thus increasing the number of valid test sets per type form 1 to 11^2 and reducing the possibility for error from 99.95% to about 5%.

Well thanks for that little note, but I've been changing one answer at a time, alternating between 5 different answers (that is right, 5), and it still thinks I'm some kind of imperfect model of the test, because it's giving me nothing. I'm not going to lie on questions to get an actual result, because that especially won't be accurate. Anyway, it's not like I'm disappointed or anything.

Alright so maybe I did care a little bit. I went ahead and lied on a few more questions and it gave me EIE.

Ironically, IEI is the type I least match with dichotomy wise based on the wikisocion descriptions.
