may be... that's my personal observation that i don't claim to be right but those singers which I thought could be SLIs have that velvet in their voice. or i don't know how to call it. it's about their voice tone colour.

I don't know what to say to this [I'm speechless, for once]. Thank you? I think it is a beautiful song.

That's what I was thinking. And fwiw he cracks me up in those interviews. "I sort of lost track of her, but the last I heard she ran for Senate in New York and won." LOL

This is interesting... I can definitely see [hear] what you mean by "velvet" - that's a word that sometimes comes to mind for me too w certain singers/songs.

[BTW lekka, are you a color synesthete?]

Ah, no worries. English is my first [and only ] language, and I only learned what it was within the last year or so. Here's a wikipedia article about color synesthesia

OMG! while reading the wiki article I thought to myself "Is it an exception not a norm? Funny, i thought everyone experiences it like that". and then the next line i read was "Synesthetes often report that they were unaware their experiences were unusual until they realized other people did not have them". Gosh!

well, yes, i'm a synesthete. but it's not only about the color. it's also about sound and smell and taste and touch

    thank you. that's very interesting.

Hahah, I do it too, and I remember being surprised that not everyone experiences things that way. It is interesting to know it's a recognized phenomenon [and not a very uncommon one, according to an article I read recently].

I would like him to be SLI. I have no evidence that he is, but would be happy if someone can provide some? He seems very socially adept whatever his type, which would be nice to see some more examples of social SLIs.

This blog shows him as an enneagram 9, which could support SLI.

on some level this reminds me of prince, who i think is a decent enough INFp/mirror. he also reminds me a little of john edwards, lol.

anyhow, i don't have any solid reasons. i do think he seems extremely socially adept, and i don't really see a lot of evidence for Si or Te or any combo.

    SLE or SEE
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Ah... actually I think I can maybe see EIE for him. He is very socially adept, and he knows how to get a reaction from a group/crowd, even if he acts low-key about it. I'll have to watch some more interviews....

Reminds me a lot of both my SLE cousin and Elvis, who was probably SEE. Also looks like Michael Madsen; not sure on his type, but I'd say some Se type.

FWIW I think Isaak is SLE. Reminds me of a few Se ego types, and the lyrics to the song seem to indicate Fe/Ni Super Id.
