This is what you get for not being Rational and Merry
Anyway, on a serious note I'm sorry to hear it

Jesus Christ Gulanzon, this girl just posted this thread and here you are, no less than two minutes later, offering a response.
You're a beast.
*sigh* I KNOW. If I were, I could marry my LII ex and just dispense with all of this. It's lookin' mighty green on the other side of the dichotomy...This is what you get for not being Rational and Merry

Well, I don't know if it helps but...
Kick that SLI to the curb, and date the impossible! And don't believe in Gul who believes in inspirational speeches, or tiny_dancer who believes in <insert what you believe in>, but believe in tiny_dancer who believes in tiny_dancer!
Your heart will pierce the heavens!
EDIT
And not that it helps, but it is pretty awesome over here!
I could make you an honorary ESE and tell my duals to wear shades so you don't feel like you're being watched!
Gulanzon, that speech was so heartening that I'M GONNA DO IT!!
I'll name my first-born after you.
This could help.tell my duals to wear shades so you don't feel like you're being watched!

Enneagram 5 with a side of wings.
huh. Well, that's a bummer.
I've struggled having conversations with EIIs, but it was more because we have such different uses of language, partly. And it was hard for me to come up with conversation topics, not because we don't have much in common - we have more in common than any guy I've ever met - but because we speak about them in different ways, I guess. Duality just isn't that verbal.
Hmm. Good luck.I find it far easier to have an energetic conversation with an EII, LII, ILE, ILI... someone that is strong in Ne/Ni or Fe/Fi. So I can understand why he doesn't feel a "click." I think that comes easier with someone who relates to your stronger functions. Recently conversation has gotten much easier, but I guess that isn't going to matter much now. haha
Blah. I'd probably say more about this, but it's really taking me too long to put my thoughts together, so maybe later I'll edit this.
Well... it still means he isn't interested.

FWIW my SLI friend complains to me alot. I'd built up this image of him being a brooding philosopher, but IRL he's actually quite sociable/outwardly warm.
So, I dunno. You guys seem fairly like onions, and not just because you make me cry
who's talking about benefitting?

(thank you for quoting that.... I think it is very important)
