for some reason, i could see tereg doing this. especially if he were he a reporter and if he had some jackass insisting that he do a totally stupid news report. thus, i was thinking some intuitive extrovert.

it was mentioned in the video comments as a possible reason. somehow that makes a ton of sense to me and i think it's brilliant.

from the video comments:

1. This was not Faux News. It was a Fox AFFILIATE. Fox affiliates are not closely related to FNC, aren't managed by them and are under no obligation to take on FNC's political leanings.

2. Stories like this happen when a producer back at the station insists on airing a story that the reporter knows isn't newsworthy. The reporter was likely taking a jab at some 22 year old know-nothing.

3. The shot at the end was pad. This looks like it came directly from the archive tape rather than off-air.

That was totally entertaining, though. Loved the reenactment with the bear cut-out, loved the giant rabbit head...

THIS is what the bear probably looked like.... ...if it were real.

I'm not sure which was better, the bear running or climbing the tree. Very nice.
