Just a rough guess, he seems Alpha to me.

I think that I see the most in him. He looks like the kind of person who seems comfortable with attention. His body posture seems to suggest (to me at least) a confidence or a real natural comfort in front of gatherings of people.

Pretty much he was a social butterfly, although a person valuing his privacy. Also had plenty of attention from opposite sex throughout his life. Either way he didn't lack confidence in general, not only in social settings.

I think that the 2nd picture really captures a sense of introspection and valuing privacy that you just mentioned. While he seems confident just in general, I don't think he seems overly so, and I don't really sense a lot of bravado or machismo. In other words, he seems like he understands and respects the bounds of social tact (maybe even flirts with its boundaries), but it doesn't hinder him from living life like the "world is my oyster" sort of way or hold him back socially.

I think I'm going to say ESFj.

I think it is spot on, I would never imagine him overstepping any social boundaries, at least in public.

I agree about Fe valuing, but I'd have VI'd him as ENFj or ENTp rather than ESFj, though I don't think it'd be impossible.

ENFj was a possibility at first as well, but I could not see the valuing (when I was talking about what appeared to be a lack of bravado, not that bravado itself is or anything, but that's sort of the connection I made)

Well I guess it's a matter of weak vs unvalued Se. Se HA doesn't always have to be overpronounced either.

I think I could see both ESFj and ENFj. ENTp not that much but who knows, at least he wouldn't be a typical ENTp then.

Some random bits whether they are relevant to you or not: loved nature, could spend 3 month away from busy streets somewhere near a lake, fishing, working, reading philosophy books, walking in the woods. At the same time had a work hard approach, perfectionist. Always believed that talent is never enough and that you have to work hard to achieve anything in life. Most of the work around the house or for the car he would either do himself or would find some friend/acquaintance to do it for him, but would generally keep everything in check.

On another note, Ssmall, you're in South Africa? Whereabouts? I worked in the Vaal Triangle for two years, and later went a few times to PE on business. I traveled a bit in the country, too.

Yeh, Im working in Joburg, while staying in Sandton. Had traveled the country and around myself too (Durban, Cape Town, Mpumalanga, Dragensberg, Limpopo, Maputo etc.) If I would sum up I have probably spent here already two years.

On topic though, I would also consider ESFj more probable than ENFj also, but I would not dismiss ENFj for sure.
