My guess is IEE. Opinions, analysis?

“I never thought I want to do anything, really, except not go to work properly and turn up at the same place every day and eat sandwiches in the same canteen, if I can possibly help it, as I don't think I'd be very good at it.”

“Its not easy being a man you know. I had to get dressed today… and there are other pressures.”

Anyone? Even if you don't have any insight, make sure to watch the video (in fact watch the whole series) -- hilarious! =D

I thought in Black Books he played a moody INFp bastard. He's difficult to type because he's so negative .

He reminds me so much of my music professor who I'm inclined to think is that type.

You're probably right. IEE. But most likely Fi subtype.

Fi subtype though, I'm pretty sure. Since he's a bit of a social pleaser. From what I know he portrays Fi sub and I portray Ne sub, so there are some differences in behavior.

    ESTP

They make a wonderful couple with ESFp; my friends, who are ESFp don't find any of their dual's physically attractive, they are married happily with ESTp's. They are wonderful people and some can be very funny.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I've seen him in interviews, he's so much more relaxed and disinterested in things than I'd imagine him being. Sticking with INTp.

I think you could make a pretty good case for Fe PoLR, at least from that one interview. His energy seems very inert and lethargic.

Same, I tend to equate his sort of uppity neuroticism with INTj. INTps don't let stuff get to them (at least not on the surface) as much as Larry David does. That's not to say that I think all INTjs are like that, it's just a trait that seems fitting.

Hmm, I'm not good at this, I'd rather type him as introvert. But I don't know really why...

Totally, haha. I was thinking Jonathan was some kind of non-gamma Ej. The nerd interviewer seems like some kind of merry extrovert

This is just speculation, but the part in that video you linked where he talks about grown men playing video games seems weirdly anti-alpha.

Also I just discovered Black Books. Funniest show I've seen in a while, gotta find more episodes.
