    Default It's not type related...

This is a game, to help us all take Socionics less seriously , which I think would be better for everyone .

So this thread is about relationships that don't make sense to the world of Socionics, but work out anyways.

So tell me? Gammas & Alphas getting married, best friends with a quasi-identical :wink

I know an ENFj and ISTj that are incredibly dull , I wouldn't choose to hang with them above my Gamma & Alpha buddies. Also I really like this INFj chick and she asks me to hang a lot, she's lovely .
GOSH, this feels dumb - I don't have many examples but I think that it's more important that a person is fun & isn't unhealthy rather than your types meshing.

    IEI, sp/sx 4w3.

Short term yes, socionics type is less important than other factors. Long term... is another story.
I'm not saying that socionics type is the only thing that counts. All I'm saying is that it is, at least IMHO, very important.

That within the realm of socionics is more easily followed by observing those who never seem to analyze it.

well, I've had several female ISTj friends. Though we always end up w/ that conflictor tension, I Do admire their toughness and certainty and highly respect them. After a while it gets draining, but I was friends w/ one ISTj girl for a few years and we spent a fair amount of time together...though it was a bad idea to go on a vacation together...so I guess socionics wins.

I have found a few identicals who were increeeedibly boring...

There's an EII I don't like. He's a too-friendly pervert. When I see someone like that, I kick them in the shin.

SLEs bug me more than IEIs.

yep. The closer the relationship, the more it is affected by "socionics".

BTW this thread reminds me sort of: very big fat ugly women who say, 'beauty is on the inside'

People who don't date their dual like to say, hey socionics is not everything, I'm happy with my supervision/conflictor/comparative etc

This is true, but I am trying to find things that go beyond people trying to 'justify' their relationships.

I have a dual. I say socionics isn't everything. But I don't believe that, even though objectively I see that it is true.

You don't always get to like you dual, but they're still the best relationship development according to theory. I hear from people who don't like their duals all the time, doesn't mean at all they're "bad" for them, but that that person is blind to personal development.
