Categories can be "used" by Te, but as a rule (lol) they are a product of Ti.
But, for a certainty, back then,

A category in of itself is actually linking an understanding, so I'm sure it's definitely more of a Ti/Fi thing. Humans tend to categorize naturally. Even without logic, there are likes and dislikes, and differences need to be categorized.Catagories are
