Valuing freeedom

What type of freedom do you most value? I would give you a list to choose from, but I want you to use your own brain. Nah ... actually, I'm just a bit lazy. Plus, they'd just be random choices, so..

Mine would be the freedom to be spontaneous. To be able to just pick up and go wherever or do whatever on a whim.

To me, freedom is one package really. Which btw also includes the freedom to voluntarily sacrifice parts of my "inalienable rights" and freedoms if and when I want to.

Can't really draw out any specifics.

I've read that there are basically two types of "freedoms".
The freedom to do (or not do)...
and the freedom from (from others doing or not doing to you).

Under normal conditions, I value the freedom to do (or not do) more than the other.
But under certain types of conditions (such as mkn3w's "leadership" I preferred freedom from ).

But seriously, even though the freedom to do allows other people to do things to me, I still want the freedom to be able to remove myself from that situation, preferably while keeping other things equal. But that's not always the case. Sometimes in order to remove myself from the situation, I wind up losing a lot of other freedoms to do...such as freedom to talk to some online friends, freedom to discuss things I find interesting, etc.

But I'd have to say that ultimately, I need the freedom to be able to take action when the thought strikes me. That doesn't always mean that I WILL take action, I just need to be able to take the action. What's annoying is when I'm blocked from taking action (due to time, money, 'reality' or other constraints), at the point that I'm blocked....the feeling to take action becomes overwhelmingly strong. (such as when it's snowing outside. I don't like to drive. I don't really NEED to go into town. But as soon as that snow blocks me from being able to travel ANYwhere, I feel an overwhelming urge to drive into town. As soon as the snow goes away, the urge to do is gone as well. )

I value the freedom to be able to disappear from groups of people socially. To sit at home and do nothing on weekends for several consecutive weekends and that be ok. If I don't feel like talking to anyone, then I won't talk to anyone.

Unfortunately, these are things that cannot be actualized without causing serious problems. It is human nature to look after another person's best interests, particularly if you are close to them. And what I value directly smothers this nature. Therefore, I choose to live in cognitive dissonance with regards to what freedom I value and what I actually should be doing instead.

Freedom of too much expectations. I am what I am and I don't want anyone to expect me to change or be somehow different or become somehow better or do something.

I also like freedom to get away and change things on a whim.
