    Default Biology of Functions!

    <3 Rocky!

Anyway, it occurred to me that the limbic system could play a major role in . So I'm going to try and map the brain based entirely on speculation now

Everybody feel free to add your own speculation.

(note: I was going to go through different structures but I decided it was too much effort for now, so this all applies to the cortex and/or some generalised idea of what the lobe's functions are)

    Brain Stem -
    Cerebellum -
    Temporal Lobes/Limbic System -
    Parietal Lobes - (??)
    Frontal Lobes - (??)

Well why don't you make a suggestion? I couldn't think of a correlation for cingulate gyrus, anyway.

    Fi? Limbic?

Fi is a judgement, it belongs in the domain of the frontal lobes...

    So is thalamus?

Well, Im not positive (afterall, we are just playing around) but look at what it deals with. I also thought of maybe Si.

Yeah, I'm just considering Si. I thought of Fe because it could potentially inhibit emotional expression, but mostly I wanted to fit it in somewhere.

    Amygdala=
    Occipital Lobe= ,
    Parietal Lobe=
    Temporal Lobe= , ,
    Left-frontal Lobe= ,
    Right-frontal Lobe= ,
    Cerebellum/basal ganglia=

Also, right-brain= visual imagery, spatial awerness, metaphor/jokes, muscial melody, tone and rythm.

Left= Logical and ethical reasoning, categorization, language use, words, and reading.

Is the occipital really associated with a function? Visual information is interpreted in the parietal (most senses are, except olfaction which is temporal).

Also why would you list with occiptal?

I thought would be associated with amygdala but I could be wrong. I listed with frontal lobe because of the associations with social constructs i.e. morality, and also inhibition of behaviour as is appropriate to all the "rules" the frontal lobes measure your thoughts against...

And I thought with temporal lobes because of the association with aggression/acting out, the cerebellum looks more like the personal sensations you'd associate with

Also, pitch and rhythm are functions of the LEFT auditory cortex.
