    Default Gulanzon

Gulanzon to me isn't an ESFj, but either an INTp or ESTj.

    Why?

He seriously annoys me, and likes arguing with everything I say.
He's very critical- just like ILI. Well most people on here are like that, but he's especially so. Taking one half-truth that you said and annoningly beating you to death with it, instead of getting the whole/'gist' of what you're saying. Ni-polr seems evident though....but I don't think I supervise him.
I don't really see any Fe in his posts or videos at all, whatsoever. Can other people please confirm this, and agree with me? I know there has to be at least few people that do.

His polr seems to be either Ni or Fe which leaves ILI or LSE to me.

Gets off on being factually right at all costs as much as possible, even to the degree of comfort of other users. Reminds me of that super nerd in class that would correct you and play teacher's pet, and then get beat up after school.

    Not really.

There's lots of obvious Fe-valuing in his posts.

Reminds me of that super nerd in class that would correct you and play teacher's pet, and then get beat up after school.
That's not how either how INTp's or ESTj's are like.

But he's not ESFj. He's probably ENTp.
...the human race will disappear. Other races will appear and disappear in turn. The sky will become icy and void, pierced by the feeble light of half-dead stars. Which will also disappear. Everything will disappear. And what human beings do is just as free of sense as the free motion of elementary particles. Good, evil, morality, feelings? Pure 'Victorian fictions'.

Allow me to highlight a pattern: only with you. Whoops.

And when was the last time you saw me spouting off Nimagination? Really now. "Critical = ILI" is just incredibly crappy. Aren't you supposed to suck less at Ti than me or something?

That's weak Ti in action. I can't see your argument, I just see things that piss me right the hell off. (Constructivist Fe is cool like that).

Also, we're not sufficiently psychologically close for Supervision to take hold. Trust me. Been there, done that. (Not that I have any idea what this "psychological distance" thing is. But, I do Supervise one of my best friends, and the trick so far is to just lay off.)

Can I ask which videos of me you've watched? We probably aren't talking about the same ones. Not that I'm too clear on where exactly any confusion could be brought in to the equation.

    Fe PoLR is actually ludicrous.

Yes. I'm masturbating to this post as I type.

I also still have scars from when they beat me up with a fire extinguisher.

Typing mostly on relations, I find, is a really hard sell. And to be honest, you post kinda random and off the fly things that I think anyone, regardless of type, could oppose or possible irritate/offend you. I'm not sure that you're aware that your behavior/post easily rile people up because of some of the outlandish statements you make.

What in particular makes you so sure you're an ESE and not an ILE? Based on what little I've read of you, you seem too quirky and entertaining to be like the ESEs I know, and much more like the ILEs.

yeah ENTp's form this weird gelatinous ball of corny Ne/Ti nerd jokes that basically says nothing, but it really entertaining. Everyone is chiming in this and that "humorous" comment. ENFp's don't generally seem to be as comfortable taking part in it. Probably because they aren't Fe, and they have some self-respect. The ENTp retard-ball is very Fe.

I must say that you seem more alpha-ish. I'm not entirely convinced of either, but ENxp definitely makes sense.

Fe-HA makes a lot of sense for you actually.

I don't really mind Gulanzon's "sasdfasd" that much, because he seems fairly soft and light-hearted about it. Its easy to just ignore him. I'm not incredibly stupid and going to think he's making a decent point finally, but I'm not going to completely block him out. Even if he's Fe HA, it's obviously not the same as someone like Archon, BnD or Strrrng who are basically in your face with Fe, something which I can't ignore. It's easy to ignore Ne-Fe because its triggered through Ne, and Ne is my ignoring function. SLE and IEI stuff is a lot more potent.

But yeah, that doesn't change the fact that I like Gulanzon. I tend to like people who don't like me, but who aren't jerks, or if someone tells me they like me then its easier to like them back. Even if they're lying, it won't change the fact that I like people who like me a lot less than they do.

I meant Fe... you're not ITp

You're general attitude is very light-hearted and "fun." It seems a little forced though which is uncommon for any serious type and pretty common for Fe extraverts especially alphas.

You seem to make an effort to be odd and funny which is typical for some ILEs. Though I agree with polikjum that it's not in the same way as some ILEs on this forum.

Like I said I'm not claiming any certainty.

IEEs are light-hearted, but I find they have more of an edginess to them. They're self-contradicting like that.

I said that it's not the same way as some Beta NFs of this forum, who you can tell have strong Fe, and for me personally, can't be automatically ignored. All the ILEs I'm fine with. Fe egos are much more conflicting.

Well, it's an "act" I picked up ages ago to keep my SLEDad off my back. Eventually I guess it just stuck, and it's one of my integral social personas. It's certainly no longer forced at this stage, but it's interesting that people keep picking up that it seems that way. My theory as to that is perhaps because it comes off as incongruous with other aspects of how I present myself in social situations.

I also get a buzz out of putting on a performance with lots of energy. Hence the videos I make

IEEs often want to be widely recognized for what they view as their outstanding character traits. For me, this would be eccentricity. So yes, I do make an effort to be odd, but not so much funny... that actually comes naturally. (Although, so does the oddness, but I deliberately play that up because it's fun for me to do so, and like I said, I like being well-known for being eccentric.)

I'm also incredibly passive and automagically lose track of my own thoughts or feelings when exposed to those of others, if they're sufficiently close enough to me. I characteristically shut people out and become very cold if they're "too emotional" or especially if they start getting frustrated or angry at me. I find it almost impossibly difficult to actually talk about my own feelings (especially negative ones directed at other people) unless someone else takes the initiative in making a "bear your heart" kind of situation. I have a strong tendency in general of trying to minimize my "footprint" when it comes to getting things from life/the world/people. Beyond being self-suppressive, I just naturally have a lot more room for "everyone else" than "me" in my life. One of the worst and most disruptive things to happen to me was a really bad conflict with a loved one. The fallout since is that I worry about causing more fighting, so some things are no-talk zones for me, internally, and might never see the light of day, no matter how much better it would make me feel if I could let them out. Sometimes I space out during conversation and continue the conversation in my head without realizing that I've dropped out... but that's not type-related My sense of wellbeing is based on what I feel the quality of the connection is between myself and people that matter to me. And not to be cruel, but I tend to feel that the vast majority of my social contacts do not matter to me: I feel fundamentally disengaged from them. It's actually very lonely.

So yes, I think I'm a Nine, or a really depressed Seven.

    EDIT

Not that I think all of that is necessarily evidence, or even evidence of equal quality.

bingo. 7s don't like feeling burdened by other people, and they avoid pain like a 9 would.

I was sure I was a 9. I never considered 3, not in my wildest dreams, but they convinced me.

    @Coolanzon
I do find it difficult to believe that IEE would have a 5fix, not that it's impossible. IEE is almost definitively 7.

Heh, to some people, calling you alpha is their way of calling you uncool in socionics terms.

Gul seems to do a great job of being receptive to people's opinions regardless of how he actually feels about them or thinks about them. He seems extremely interested in hearing various people's explanations for things. I seem him as very Te valuing. He plays around with Fe a lot and people seem easily amazed by it, but if you see him as Fe in ego, it shows you don't really understand the difference between valued Fe or not, imo.

Alpha SFs do not pursue explanations for things so much, and they certaintly aren't overly analytical in the ways that delta NFs and guls are. He, like other IEEs, shows a passion for being receptive to people's ideas and thought processes. I'm kind of surprised that he does this here, in situations where there are obviously various levels and qualities of understanding. But when I ask him about it, his response is very IEE - he simply wants to see what people say.

learner's tip: If you want to gain depth to your understanding in socionics, you should try to figure out why other people are saying Gul is not IEE, so yous see what some common flaws in application of socionics/typing other people are. Key things to note: how does the 'appearance' of someone being good with an element relate to valuing that element? What are gender differences in the assumptions and stereotypes of types? Why are people debating about alpha vs delta? What are differences in an alpha SF and a delta NF? things like that come to mind.

In what ways would you say I demonstrate (lolpuns) strong but unvalued Fe?

Just from these last few posts I am thinking IEE > ILE.
