LSI?
I haven't watched the movie, but I remember the videogame. Max Payne clearly values + , he uses "poetic" language to describe his feelings. I think you can read this trait is related to beta quadra on wikisocion. Betas seem to love this way of describing things.
So, I think Max Payne is beta ST. BTW, I've read Mark Wahlberg is LSI.

The original Max Payne was ENTj. Totally Ni and Ej at the very least and I don't see the Fe anywhere.
This, of course, says nothing about the film version of Max Payne. But it might shed a light on what the character was based on. There's sure to be some leftover ENXj-ish traits in the character regardless of what type the actor is.
Slater: the traits you describe are arguments in favor of strong and valued Fe Ni, but not in any way of weak and valued Fe and Ni. Beta STs aren't poetically gifted in the way you describe.
Well, beta STs have a hidden agenda (Fe+Ni) and if they finally let it go, they can be good at that. Anyway, I have matched the wrong concepts.
