    Default Alpha subforum moderators

The time has come to choose our leaders as we march into a new age of independence and prosperity! ArchonAlarion has demanded that each subforum (meaning just this one) have two moderators. For that purpose I nominate Cracka (who is already a site moderator) and myself (seeing as how it's easier for me to get myself to agree to this than to get someone else to agree to it).

    Are there any other nominations?

We don't need that many moderators (five should be plenty ), and we shouldn't try to demote Subterranean or Tereg like that. I suggest the following five moderators:

    • MysticSonic
    • Bionicgoat
    • Jem
    • jxrtes
    • Carla

Five for the fun of it, not because we actually need that many.

Though i may never post, it's still the only quadra subforum I ever go into and read all the topics. With that said, this is practically the only subforum I can say that I do actually moderate, even though there's not much to do as far as that goes.

I just don't post much here because I rarely see anything I can add to. I really don't feel the "wild and crazy" vibe that this subforum tends to give me most of the time so I usually just read and move on.

Personally, this subforum has practically never needed anything moderated anyway. I don't see the use for mods for each subforum... but that's just me, I'm not opposed to it, just don't know why anyone feels it's needed.

Who would actually consider being a mini-me moderator? Anyone?

This is something which could be easily changed every few months or so.

I'd do it... as long as there are people to cover my slack when I ummm, take a trip to the other side

then again, I don't see there being much need for moderation in alpha. (actually that kind of makes it the perfect job. I'm best at jobs where I don't actually have to do anything )

I think this is why everyone is all excited and is in a "PICK ME" attitude. You get and there will be no :frown: or in the job description.

Watch it... we wouldn't want to arm a forum-eraser. Let's stick to people we can trust.

And thirty-six moderators (just to pull a number out of the air) to a forum is kind of ridiculous... I prefer the idea of taking turns.

I think it has far less to do with what kind of government is in place and more to do with how/why it came to be that way and the general "spirit" of the society. Im wary of using terms like "democracy" and "dictatorship" because they can mean so many things and describe very little.

I was actually going to eventually make a vid about this because macro-socionics interests me.

Hmm... I suggest just Cracka for Alpha moderator, simply because he's already doing it and so nothing will change. We just need someone to be nominally in charge for our status as an independent subforum.
