Your type only really has significance if your understanding of socionics theory is accurately mapped to reality. Your "functional alignment" (type) is a theoretical representation of your relationship to other people along psychological lines. So you'll know if you're EII once you have a proper understanding of what socionics is actually talking about.
As for what you can do, start talking to people from different quadras. Pay attention to how you react to different types irl (your real life experience is paramount). Here online, you could find various people to talk to so as to see how you interact with them... but therein lies the long process of coming to understand what socionics factors make interacting someone appealing vs other factors (like maturity, interests, appearance, etc).
If you are feeling brave you could post pictures or video of yourself to get opinions from forum members here.
