The movie, which I was only halfway through when I made the thread. I'm sort of ambivalent about some of my typings now. Pumpkin had a whole different side after the war.

Seen it long time ago, seemed kinda boring... and strangely enough I don't remember a damn thing. (Had lot of Ni I guess)

there was a book called simply geisha by liza dalby which has been praised for being a more accurate representation of geisha culture and more helpful for those wishing to know more about it. dalby is an anthropology grad student as i remember. i read it ages ago and remember enjoying it. i skipped arthur golden's work.

That's possible for the chairman. I didn't feel very confident in where I'd narrowed him down (particularly as he showed a rather keen grasp on where everyone was internally as the movie went on).
I could also see that for Nobu, possibly, however he seemed (in the movie, can't comment on the book) to be more on the aggressive/caregiver side than the infantile/victim one. Maybe not the best way to guess at a type. In some respects it is a little easier to see him as a Ti type (finding war, business, and sumo wrestling to be fundamentally working on the same principles, then being rather pleased when Chiyo connected her 'dancing' as he rather condescendingly put it in a similar way "the dance between businessmen/sumo wrestlers/etc") than Te.
