    Default People, define "friend"?

Go. Non-intj posts are welcome. Just so long as you're misanthropist.

In no way should one act contrary to the great future you have before you.

    Haha I like this one^.

I felt like I have been debilitating the word friend all my life. Those whom I considered friends were just ones who couldn't be alone. Ex-neighbors from childhood so to speak.

I really want to say I only have one or two friends right now, one of them being my dad. The rest are just.. humans I can bear being in the presence of. Haha.

Friends just 'happen' for me - and not very often. It's rare that I am confident enough to ascribe the term 'friend' someone, at least publically. Between myself, it is a loose term applied to people who I have at least some acquaintance with and who have not repulsed me.

Yeah. To me, I like to think of the word friend as the deepest connection there is, second to the one a mother has for her child. I now realized that I only have four friends right now. My dad, my brother, myself, and my ex-neighbor from childhood. My dad and I are my best friends.

This way, I don't feel altruistic toward anyone else. A guard for my heart I guess.

The rest of the people whom I "thought" were my friends, were other kids I grew up with because they were my neighbors. Now I realize they're just people/acquaintances; due to the reasons they became my friend (they can't stand being alone).

Does anyone know why a friend/acquaintance would feel inclined to lie to you, like all the time about anything. He's an ESTJ. It has gone for so long (ten years) that I'd rather call him an enemy. Another person told me that he's fake, which the ESTJ even admitted himself of being fake. Can someone define someone who's fake?
