    I think it's more a temperament thing.

    Which rules out ethicals.

    So, EP and IP.

I don't know that moodiness can necessarily be correlated to type?
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Well, by textbook definition, "Rationals change their mood to suit the activity, Irrationals change their activity to suit their mood."

Then it would be up to activity, not type. Going by that alone, if rationals change activities very often, they're bound to be moodier than irrationals

The cascade of emotions I've experienced since opening this thread make me think that INFj are moody types too.

    +1.

Should we distinguish between different types of moodiness? Someone mentioned introvyrt stryfe vs. extrovert explosions. Can someone share more about how they experience their moodiness?

I'm pretty moody, but I've got this baseline action thing I can do that kind of bypasses/ignores my mood. Still, some people can pickup when I'm moody, and start changing their own behaviour... it's a downward spiral.

What I hate is when someone avoids you because they think you might have a problem with them, and then you're like they're acting weird, and you never had a problem with them until they started avoiding you, and then the problem is that they're avoiding you. Life!

I'm not really moody at all anymore. I can get pretty aggressive at the drop of a hat though. I think my moodiness I suffered from growing up was all related to being female.

Males have just as strong feeligns as females they just hide it better.

Uh but... fuck you. For saying I'm moody. I find I'm quite calm and reserved. I just, have strong emotions. Though my emotional states usually last for about 3 days at a time. Then I go on to another state. It's like a natural phase.

Who said men don't have as strong feelings as women? The point is that women with hormones flying getting moody. They just do. Once a month I get moody as fuck even though I'm usually a very steady person. It's like my sign post.

same. I'm pretty steady otherwise. But I know a couple male SEIs (midlife age) who are moody as hell.

My moods change, but they're not really super high or super low, and I can't really describe them as 'happy' or 'sad.' It's really more like 'motivated' or 'unmotivated.' energetic - calm.. happy - neutral... Most often they also have something to do with how much sleep I got, or maybe a frustrating situation at work.

I'm the same way. How much sleep I get can really determine my overall outlook for the entire day. If I don't get the right amount, watch out. Having said that, I'm never really particularly happy or sad...like you said, it's motivated or unmotivated, etc.

Yep, i am exactly the same aswell. My moods are fairly baseline these days. I can feel when i wake up on the wrong side of the bed as this kind of pressure in my brain. Eeeeew
