    Default Lateralization of brain function

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lateral...#Which_side.3F

Interesting to note that the left brain seems very , while the right brain is more .

The right brain also seems more attuned to values of being able to "get" what something is and jumping with that from idea to idea (stronger intuition (in the normal sense of the word)).

    Points for discussion:

Is heavy lateralization more responsible for--

    "Flavouring" an existing personality or
    The actual personality itself?

To what degree do different functions tap exclusively one side of the brain?

    Subsequently--

In females, who have a larger bridge (the corpus callosum (I love saying that!)), are there smaller gaps in the aptitude of the different functions?

In males, are these gaps greater, but the functions in turn more specialized?

    Kgo.

Yep. Also, left = IJ, right = EP (stereotypically)

I'd say they are supposedly considered "balanced"; just as - as PP said - NT and SF. Yet lateralization of brain function is a theory which lately has started to be discareded, there doesn't seem to be real evidence towards a connection between rigid / flexible behavior and prevalent usage of left / right brain side.

People don't like logic/math/facts/repetition because it takes practice and skill. It doesn't care about 'who you are', it's just something that you have to 'drill yourself' to be good at. And you have make a lot of social sacrifices to be a very 'logical' person. Unless you're at least average in basic, mundane tasks- you will be bullied, something 'magical' people need to accept.

People don't like magic/creativity/gay magic because in order to find meaning, you just have to learn to get comfortable with uncomfortableness. You have to learn that in the creative process, there's always going to be all this self-inflicted pain, that's always necessary- to create something pure that people can relate to. They have to stop judging themselves when they feel 'weak' and 'faggy.'

So the 'creative/magic/artistic' people have to 1: stop trying to make everything better in one grand gesture at once. 2: realize that most everything takes practice and skill, they can't rely on their natural talents to get through basic life and the 'logical/math' people have to 1. stop thinking that every bit of pain or sadness is a bad thing that needs therapy offices or pills or some sort of external system structure. 2. Realize they need to 'ride with the uncomfortable feelings' instead of holding on to their intellectualism and what they think they know. Beauty can't be systemized.
