    Default IEI/INFp super powers

I curious what kind of strengths will IEIs get in the VIA survey:

    http://www.viasurvey.org/

I've got "Forgiveness" as my main strength. I must confess that when I saw that I was... WFT? How can Forgiveness even be a strength?

Now I'm wiser... I realized that because of Forgiveness I'm almost invincible. Nobody can truly hurt me... I'm ethereal... everything goes through me...
    "What is love?"
"The total absence of fear," said the Master.
    "What is it we fear?"
    "Love," said the Master.

Although Im no IEI, I was bored at work so...

    Your Top Character Strength

    Perspective (wisdom)
Although you may not think of yourself as wise, your friends hold this view of you. They value your perspective on matters and turn to you for advice. You have a way of looking at the world that makes sense to others and to yourself.
    Your Second Character Strength

    Judgment, critical thinking, and open-mindedness
Thinking things through and examining them from all sides are important aspects of who you are. You do not jump to conclusions, and you rely only on solid evidence to make your decisions. You are able to change your mind.
    Your Third Character Strength

    Humor and playfulness
You like to laugh and tease. Bringing smiles to other people is important to you. You try to see the light side of all situations.
    Your Fourth Character Strength

Capacity to love and be loved
You value close relations with others, in particular those in which sharing and caring are reciprocated. The people to whom you feel most close are the same people who feel most close to you.
    Your Fifth Character Strength

    Citizenship, teamwork, and loyalty
You excel as a member of a group. You are a loyal and dedicated teammate, you always do your share, and you work hard for the success of your group.

EDIT: I just noticed my last strength is Modesty and humility, man I'm vain

Maybe it should have been a general thread in General Discussion...

The main idea behind the Strengths is that people using their strengths are happier...

I'm putting this here for the sake of it.

    Your Top Character Strength

    Kindness and generosity
You are kind and generous to others, and you are never too busy to do a favor. You enjoy doing good deeds for others, even if you do not know them well.
    Your Second Character Strength

    Forgiveness and mercy
You forgive those who have done you wrong. You always give people a second chance. Your guiding principle is mercy and not revenge.
    Your Third Character Strength

    Humor and playfulness
You like to laugh and tease. Bringing smiles to other people is important to you. You try to see the light side of all situations.
    Your Fourth Character Strength

    Creativity, ingenuity, and originality
Thinking of new ways to do things is a crucial part of who you are. You are never content with doing something the conventional way if a better way is possible.
    Your Fifth Character Strength

    Appreciation of beauty and excellence
You notice and appreciate beauty, excellence, and/or skilled performance in all domains of life, from nature to art to mathematics to science to everyday experience.

    Your Top Character Strength

    Fairness, equity, and justice
Treating all people fairly is one of your abiding principles. You do not let your personal feelings bias your decisions about other people. You give everyone a chance.

    Your Second Character Strength

    Leadership
You excel at the tasks of leadership: encouraging a group to get things done and preserving harmony within the group by making everyone feel included. You do a good job organizing activities and seeing that they happen.

    Your Third Character Strength

    Caution, prudence, and discretion
You are a careful person, and your choices are consistently prudent ones. You do not say or do things that you might later regret.

    Your Fourth Character Strength

    Judgment, critical thinking, and open-mindedness
Thinking things through and examining them from all sides are important aspects of who you are. You do not jump to conclusions, and you rely only on solid evidence to make your decisions. You are able to change your mind.

    Your Fifth Character Strength

    Self-control and self-regulation
You self-consciously regulate what you feel and what you do. You are a disciplined person. You are in control of your appetites and your emotions, not vice versa.

    Interesting, I answered honestly.

In real life I am much more stern/prudent and leadershippy than I am online. Online I am more of an emo fag, and it's not really my true self. I don't know how to say that but yeah.

Well yeah I've always been independent/go my own way, type of person since I see the bullshit through others very clearly.

I wish I was more nicer and friendly, but I usually rely on the other person to do that. Deep down I have a heart, I just don't want it to get abused. =p

Plus as a 6 I'm constantly watching other leaders/other power structures to make sure power isn't being abused, as I can smell a poor authority from miles away.

I think I try to put myself in situations where I can assume that power isn't being abused so that I don't have to worry about it. I can't constantly be looking over my shoulder! takes too much energy .

Your Top Character Strength - Curiosity and interest in the world
Your Second Character Strength - Love of learning
Your Third Character Strength - Humor and playfulness
Your Fourth Character Strength - Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness
Your Fifth Character Strength - Judgment, critical thinking, and open-mindedness
    Character Strength #20 - Leadership
Character Strength #21 - Caution, prudence, and discretion
Character Strength #22 - Modesty and humility
Character Strength #23 - Citizenship, teamwork, and loyalty
Character Strength #24 - Spirituality, sense of purpose, and faith

Top & bottom, for comparison purposes. If I were to put the top 5 things that are important to me in my own words, it would be
    1. Adventurousness, including willingness to face fears
    2. Critical thinking, including reflecting on my own thoughts & actions
    3. Humor, humor, humor (and yes, including playfulness)
    4. Integrity, honesty, humility (humility = authenticity to me)
    5. Auto-didactic; being a tireless and life-long learner
So not too far off from what I'd self-select.
The bottom ones are quite illustrative, too. I'm not interested at all in being a leader. Caution holds me back from adventure. Their version of modesty and humility must be different than my own ... Spirituality is anathema to me. And as for "loyalty" - I have no problem showing the respect that I feel people and groups have earned, but I have zero inclination to kowtow to displays of authority.

    Interesting stuff.

Actually is quite interesting. In Positive Psychology, using your strengths is more conductive to flow which leads to happier lives.

In socionics, having your ego functions stimulated, using your ego is again... considered a good thing.

My top strength, Forgiveness, can be easily explained by my creative function, Fe... or at least this is how I view it.

And since I realize it... I've realized that yes... I'm quite invulnerable to other people's bad remarks... they go through me...

Oh I do feel best when I am being honest about myself, facing my troubles, using my understanding of character to help forgive and love people the way they need me to, learning (even though I am real lazy, I am really enjoying learning about things recently, I have just bene pushing myself and finding I love it and don't want to stop!) and being playful -god I get really frustrated when I feel I haven't let loose and just messed around for a while cause circumstances haven't allowed it!

Hmm yeah I quite like being an INFp, I just HATE the shyness when it comes to relationships, romantic relations to be perticular, haha it is getting a bit stupid now!

you know, the shyness will get better with age. At least, it did for me. I used to be horribly shy but I'm so much better now, and more confident. and that, in turn, has enabled me to be more playful. I'm much happier now I think than I've ever been. I like being INFp too

Hmm, I don't want to bother with this test right now, but I took StrengthsFinder itself a few years ago...

    1. Responsibility
    2. Intellection
    3. Ideation (?)
    4. Strategic
    5. Input (? Gathering information)

Looks like the strengths don't really translate across...

The only super power an IEI has is this:

Noooo, just kidding, that is a horrible thing to say about my dual.

They can have this power too:
