    Yes and no ... Intuition is about energy and sensing is about friction and resistance, so they can equal each other although they are not actually each other.

    I don't know if i'm 100% correct on this, but Intuition means something like 'coming from the subcounscious', or at least it is used in that context a lot.

    This would therefor exclude Se.

    Static functions are the functions that concern things that exist "behind the screens", as such they govern the mental activity that "peers into things" the way we understand intuition to. Si and Ni just register perceptions; presentations. Maybe they order them rationally or something but they don't make a jump from things one is in direct contact with to things that exist outside of oneself.

    maybe it's just the way 'intuition' is defined then?
