    Default Se dominants and blood/guts

I've noticed that Se dominants tend to be fascinated with surgeries and blood and guts and stuff. They have a strong stomach for medical type stuff, too.

I know one who took a class in college where she dissected cadavers just because she thought it would be cool to see what the inside of a person actually looks like.

I've known a couple who thought it was fun to pop other people's pimples and stuff like that.

Several think it's fun to watch surgeries on TV.

idk... Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just a coincidence in the people I know?

I cannot bear to watch surgeries. Blood is just something so vital, and it's just everywhere on those shows.

It's the same reason I can't stand willingly giving away my blood.

    He said "extremely fascinated" twice.

Edit: if you delete your post my post will look weird.

I've always been.... apprehensive about that stuff, but I kinda 'quickly warm up to it.'

I agree with allie in biology.

I was paired with another SEI-Fe girl. I ended up doing the actual cutting of the animals in question. She was grossed out, but i just saw the animal as an object to be opened. We were doing frogs and fish, so it wasn't of the scale of a human.

It doesn't really bother me at all. I feel sick and opposed if it is experiment-based/torturous, but it doesn't phase me. I'm pretty good in emergencies like that, I can act on the spot if someone slashes themselves open, whereas most people will just stare in shock.

I would like to think I would stay calm in that situation but the best I could do is call emergency while they bleed to death while I am talking on the phone.

I think I need to do a first aid course now.

Lol. Oh come on, all you need to do is restrict blood flow between whatever is cut and more essential organs, and keep it clean and elevated as much as possible.

Thanks for the elevation tip I properly would have just wrap the cuts up as tight as I could to buy me some time as I talk to emergency services.

I hated dissections because of the smell. It would stick with me all day and ruin my appetite. I didn't mind seeing it though.

My SEI dad wanted to be a medical photographer but decided that he couldn't stand the blood and guts part of it so he took a different path. lol

I know an ER doc who's LSI--lives down the street from us.

SAME. gah, that smell... I thought the dissection part was very interesting though. (to be fair, I've only ever done a frog. the advanced class did cats and I'm not sure how I'd feel about that)
