Maybe, I don't know. He was a racing driver: that's why I believe he was a sensor. BTW he was called Ayrton Senna

I think a lot of intuitors go into sports because they're self-conscious about their more perceptive/insightful nature, especially the men. Or they're just good at the sport, and are passionate about it, and it has nothing to do with socionics.

And trust me, there are sensors that are really awful, terribad at athletics. So while I understand your reasonings, I think they are faulty.

'Sides he's a racecar driver, something a lot less 'sense-y' than football or basketball.

Yeah, irrational sensors are much better at sports than rational sensors.

He has a very similar disposition and mannerisms as Tony Kanaan of the Indy Car racing series.

(Edit: I'm sure there are some interviews of him somewhere where he gets visibly upset at someone doing something stupid to him. He gets very indignant as well.)

I think the way he justified cutting on the inside of the first turn of that race for the sake of a "stupid ruling" seems to indicate that he will react harshly and outwardly to things that he feels are done unfairly to him. He thrives off of the competition, and notice how rewarding it was to him to persevere and fight for the season and to climb to the top. It's a similar feeling I would imagine climbing a mountain would be. You get to the top and you look back at what you had to go through to get there.

I suppose that means valuing to a certain degree. I can't really come to a type though for him. If I had to take a guess? ISFj maybe?

I suck at sports and have no interest in them.

"His feeling that this world is not his Fatherland, and that it does not represent his proper condition, so to speak—his feeling that, basically, he 'comes from afar'—will remain a fundamental element which will not give rise to mystical escapism and spiritual weakness, but rather will enable him to minimise, to relativise, to refer to higher concepts of measure and limit, all that can seem important and definitive to others, starting with death itself, and will confer on him calm force and breadth of vision." — Julius Evola

Makes sense. In his private life he was a soft, mild kind of guy, he built hospitals for the poor children in Brazil or something like that. He was supposed to be a workaholic too, which may mean he was xxxj.

Same. (But I don't really suck, I have great potential, I just have no interest or will in developing it)
